Lin Feng, being well-prepared, swiftly dodged out of the way. Lumine, having received his warning, also managed to evade. As for Paimon, she tightly clung onto Lumine's shoulder strap, naturally avoiding the attack.
"Traveler, be cautious! I've already called for backup!" Lin Feng hastily shouted, fearing that Lumine might fatally injure the boar.
"Traveler, let's run away quickly! This boar is just too big!" Paimon tugged at Lumine's shoulder strap, expressing her deep concern. Although wild boar meat was delicious and Mora enticing, the Traveler's safety took precedence.
The Great Boar glared menacingly at Paimon, detecting her strong boar scent on her. It charged rapidly towards Lumine, aiming primarily for Paimon.
"Traveler, watch out! It...it's coming again!" Paimon urgently cried out, gripping Lumine's shoulder strap with palpable tension, fearing she might accidentally tear it.
Lumine evaded once more, causing the boar to crash directly into the stone wall behind her, leaving a large dent stained with its blood.
"Hehe, this boar is so clumsy!" Paimon giggled gleefully, seemingly forgetting her own frequent mishaps of bumping into door frames.
"Lumine, stand over there; I'll handle this wild boar!" Lumine pointed towards Lin Feng's location and instructed Paimon. She too was concerned that Paimon might accidentally tear her shoulder strap, which would be quite embarrassing.
"Uh, alright, Traveler, please be careful!" Nodding reluctantly, Paimon released the shoulder strap and flew to join Lin Feng.
Lumine sighed with relief, then focused intently on the Wild Boar King. The creature seemed slightly less enraged now, slowly advancing towards Lumine but still casting occasional glances at Paimon.
Gripping the Dull Blade, Lumine lunged at the Wild Boar King. However, its tusks blocked the strike, producing a metallic clang.
From Lumine's strained expression, it was evident she was struggling - after all, the boar's sheer size posed a significant challenge. Realizing her strength couldn't match the boar's, she swiftly withdrew her sword and jumped backward.
Without Lumine's resistance, the Wild Boar King nearly toppled sideways.
"Go, Traveler, go!" Paimon enthusiastically cheered from a distance.
Seeing its opportunity, the Wild Boar King scraped its hind legs against the ground and swiftly charged towards Lumine. With agility, Lumine dodged effortlessly, but the boar didn't stop; instead, it accelerated directly towards Lin Feng.
Stunned, Lin Feng stood frozen, unable to comprehend why the boar would feint such a maneuver.
"Hmph, Shatter!" A familiar voice echoed from behind Lin Feng, followed by a large sword flying through the air and embedding itself just before him.
In that instant, the Wild Boar King collided with the blade. Its hide began to tear...
Blood splattered onto Lin Feng's face as the massive boar lay split in two on the ground, alongside the bloodstained greatsword.
"Eww..." The gruesome sight made Lin Feng feel nauseous.
"Can't handle a little blood? What kind of West Wind Knight are you?" Eula approached, observing Lin Feng's discomfort coldly.
She had been incredibly worried, barely making it in time. If that boar had struck Lin Feng with his frail physique, he likely wouldn't have survived!
"Hmph, are you alright? With such little strength, stay within the Knights' quarters from now on and don't wander around!" Eula glanced at Lin Feng, letting out a soft scoff as she coldly admonished him.
"Uh-huh..." Lin Feng obediently nodded, sensing a hint of concern beneath Eula's words.
Even Paimon was intimidated by Eula's imposing demeanor, barely daring to breathe. She looked fearfully at Eula, worried that any misstep might result in her being split in two.
Meanwhile, Lumine noticed the wild boar lying on the ground and approached them.
"And you are?" Lumine asked, turning towards Eula.
"Eula, descendant of the Lawrence Clan, Sinner of Mondstadt, and the Spindrift Knight," Eula replied coolly, introducing herself to Lumine.
"Thank you for your help earlier!" Lumine expressed her gratitude to Eula. After all, if the boar had charged while Paimon was nearby, they both could have met the same fate as Lin Feng.
"Hmph, I'll remember this slight against my honor!" Eula lifted her chin, hands on her hips, addressing Lumine sternly.
This outpost was originally on her list for eradication, only to be unexpectedly beaten to it by Lumine.
"Why though? We haven't offended you in any way," Paimon mustered up courage and questioned Eula cautiously.
"Ahem, that's just her way of greeting; don't take it too seriously!" Lin Feng cleared his throat and explained with a smile.
"And you, this grudge is noted as well!" Eula glared at Lin Feng, her voice icy.
"You see...?" Lin Feng chuckled and glanced at Lumine and Paimon, helplessly shrugging.
"Oh, I get it now!" Paimon nodded thoughtfully, then mimicking Eula's tone, turned to her, "Hmph, this grudge, I note it down!"
Lin Feng nearly burst out laughing at Paimon's impression. Even Eula couldn't resist, feeling tempted to laugh, realizing how she must come across.
Lumine, slightly puzzled but adapting to local customs, also nodded towards Eula and echoed, "Hmph, this grudge, I note it down!"
Seeing this, Lin Feng joined in, lifting his chin slightly and adopting Eula's haughty tone, "Hmph, this grudge, I note it down!"
Eula blushed faintly, silently adding under her breath, "And for mocking me, yet another grudge noted!"
"Oh right, Eula, have you heard about the dragon disaster plaguing Mondstadt?" Lin Feng asked, turning to face her.
"Ah, yes, the messenger told me about it. Jean assured us not to worry; someone is handling the situation!" Eula nodded in response.
"They're the ones responsible for dealing with the dragon disaster - the Honorary Knight and her... uh, flying partner!" Lin Feng introduced them with a smile.
"Hee-hee!" Paimon waved enthusiastically, relieved that no one referred to her as a flying Cryo Slime, unidentified aerial object, or little pet...
"Hmm..." Eula gave a slight nod, withholding any further comment.
"Traveler, do you need any assistance with handling the dragon disaster?" Lin Feng quickly glanced at Lumine, blinking expectantly.
Lumine looked puzzled but nodded nonetheless.
"Eula, please lend them your support. The dragon disaster has severe consequences for Mondstadt!" Lin Feng pleaded, gazing at Eula.
"Mm-hmm... Even those video-streaming chickens were blown away by the dragon, so now nobody can watch videos or play games..." Paimon nodded in agreement, feeling restless without her daily gaming fix.
"Hmph, why should I care? They're all my enemies anyway!" Eula raised her chin, hesitating slightly.
"But Amber is still in the city; what if Stormterror attacks her? What should we do?" Lin Feng expressed his concern, looking at Eula.
"Hmm..." Eula nodded and muttered, "I must tie her up and bring her to the snow-capped mountains. With my protection, she'll be safe!"
