Chapter 77 - Chapter 77: Return to the Crash Site

In the vast Pacific Ocean, there was a small island. Not far from this island, a large Boeing 747 passenger plane had both wings and tail completely broken off, leaving only the fuselage rolling rapidly on the sea surface, heading towards the island.

At this moment, in the rolling cabin, a tall black figure suddenly appeared in a seat.

Chen Mo felt a flash of white light before his eyes, and the surrounding scenery instantly changed from the office in the Hydra base to the chaotic airplane cabin, with objects flying everywhere. A huge force carried him along with the rolling plane.

When the plane he was on crashed while he was fleeing after committing murder, his special abilities fully awakened in the crisis, transporting him to the world of "Captain America."

There, he continuously schemed and significantly enhanced his strength. Two years later, upon returning, he found that everything was still at the moment he had left, with no apparent changes except for the flash of white light.

The only change was himself. He was now much taller and stronger than before, with a significant change in his aura.

Reappearing in the cabin, Chen Mo was wearing a full set of Adamantium armor, with even his head covered, leaving only his sharp, deep eyes exposed.

He was still wearing his usual black combat suit over the armor, covering most of it, making it less conspicuous.

Fortunately, the cabin was already in chaos, with everyone still alive engulfed in boundless fear, so no one noticed his change.

Chen Mo extended his hands, firmly fixing himself in the rolling seat, his eyes quickly scanning the cabin before stopping at the window beside him.

Countless luggage, debris, and passengers' bodies were flying everywhere in the cabin, with blood splattering all over. Many passengers had already perished, with the intense rolling and heavy impacts continuously claiming lives.

The cabin wall beside Chen Mo had already caved in, and the window glass was cracked. Through the glass, Chen Mo saw a glimpse of land as the plane rolled.

Chen Mo couldn't help but feel a surge of joy. With land, their chances of survival were much higher.

Although he had prepared ample food, fresh water, and inflatable boats in his space, he didn't want to drift at sea waiting for rescue or directly drift into the next world.

Retracting his gaze, Chen Mo extended his legs, hooking the seat in front of him, firmly fixing his body and freeing his hands to deal with the incoming debris.

Chen Mo's physical fitness was now six times that of an ordinary person, and his legs were enough to hold his body in place. The incoming objects, although fast, appeared much slower to Chen Mo, who could even dodge bullets, and he blocked them all.

He even had the energy to block the objects flying towards the two girls beside him. The two girls, with faces full of terror and despair, had their eyes tightly closed, their bodies shaking violently with the rolling plane. If not for the seat belts, they would have flown out long ago, unable to notice Chen Mo's actions.

Seeing the girls' bodies shaking dangerously, hitting the seats back and forth, Chen Mo extended an arm to stabilize them, using only one hand to block the incoming debris.

Sometimes, when too many objects flew towards him, Chen Mo could only lie on top of the girls, using his body to shield them.

In the violent rolling, these heavy objects had the power of a thousand-pound hammer. If they hit an ordinary person, it would result in broken bones and instant death. Only Chen Mo, with his strong physique and full set of Adamantium armor, could withstand it.

Despite his ruthless killing on the battlefield and cold demeanor towards enemies, Chen Mo was actually kind-hearted. Seeing others in danger, he wouldn't stand by and do nothing. As long as it was within his ability, he was willing to help.

Of course, he could only barely take care of the two people beside him. He couldn't reach further. After all, he was just a powerful ordinary person. He could save himself and two others, but saving everyone on the plane was beyond his capability.

At least for now, he couldn't do it. But in the future, Chen Mo believed he could and must be able to. He didn't want to be powerless if his loved ones were in danger. He didn't like that feeling.

He needed power, greater power, to control the situation!

The broken plane continued to roll and slide at high speed on the sea surface, soon rushing onto the beach, plowing a deep trench in the sand, and finally crashing into the dense forest, breaking countless trees before coming to a stop.

The plane was already in ruins, with the tail and wings completely broken off, leaving less than three-quarters of the fuselage, severely damaged and on fire in many places.

The cabin was a horrific sight. Despite wearing seat belts and taking collision precautions, the massive impact when hitting the sea surface threw many people out, killing them instantly. Many passengers were hit by heavy objects during the rolling, and some had their spines broken under the immense inertia. By the time the plane stopped, only a few people were still alive.

Chen Mo felt the plane finally stop after the violent rolling and crashing. The sudden stop after high-speed rolling made him dizzy for a moment, but he quickly recovered.

The cabin seemed to fall silent instantly, with only the sound of dripping blood and burning flames.

The cabin was completely upside down. Chen Mo propped himself up and looked around. The cabin was in chaos, with bodies and injured people everywhere, and blood covering every corner.

Through the broken tail of the plane, he could see the dense forest outside. It seemed the plane had luckily crashed on the island he had seen earlier.

Chen Mo looked at the two girls beside him. Although they were protected by him and not seriously injured, they were unconscious, either from the severe impact or extreme fright.

Given the current horrific scene in the cabin, Chen Mo thought it was better for them to remain unconscious.

Many parts of the plane were on fire, and the central fuel tank was right below the cabin, which could explode at any moment.

Even with his superhuman physique and Adamantium armor protecting him from the explosion's impact, he couldn't withstand the high temperatures generated by the explosion. If the plane exploded, Chen Mo would have no chance of survival.

So, he had to leave quickly!
