Xing li
I ran till I could run no more, I don't know why its paining me so much, why am I feeling so sad. Tears rolled down my cheeks till I started crying so loudly, I didn't really know the reason I was crying but my heart felt so sore, I didn't know what I was feeling. "Hey, Xing li" I flinched when I heard feng wan voice at my back, I wiped my eyes before turning to him. His expression suddenly changed when he saw my face, "what's wrong milady, why do you look so sad" he worriedly asked so I looked down so he couldn't see my face "Oh no, its just the wind" I lied so he smiled before looking back at me, "yh we're to assemble in the castle grounds for our usual training" my eyes widened as to what he said he must be joking right "Are you serious" I asked so he just shook his head before replying, "Oh you're new, we mostly have training here at Xin men kingdom, but it isn't really compulsory for women and its optional for guests like you, but if you want you can just wear your training clothes and go to the castle grounds in the evening". "I would love to but I don't have training clothes" he just looked at me before wrapping his hands around my neck, "no worries, let's go shopping" he beamed so I cheered before heading towards the palace gates. I'm so happy that I'm finally going shopping since I have never gone back in Qin hu kingdom since I was poor and didn't really have much money to waste on clothes.

I was fascinated by the glamorous clothes I saw; the warrior's outfit were all really nice so I couldn't pick just one. I sighted a very fascinating warrior's outfit which matched with my amber eyes, I didn't think twice as I ran towards it. "It seems you like this, uh?" feng wan asked as he grabbed the cloth, "U-Uh yh let's get this" I mumbled before staring at him, he looked like he was trying to remember something, "oh yh, a sword. You need a sword" I chuckled before unsheathing my sword so he just scratched the back of his head slightly before giving me a half smile as we walked to the lady who was in charge of the shop so we could pay. "How much does this cost" feng wan asked the lady with eyes that sparkled as she gazed at him like she had discovered a treasure, "U-Um 5 gold coins" my eyes widened as to how expensive that was, are all the things in this kingdom so expensive? Feng wan dropped the money on the desk in front of the lady as he took the clothing. We left as soon as we finished buying the clothing but I could still feel stare from the lady. I really loved the streets and inns so I stared at them as we walked. We got to an inn where I wanted to rest for a while but feng wan insisted we keep on going so we wouldn't miss the training. "Feng wan please let's stay here or a while, I'm tired" he looked at me as he shook his head, "what of the training" he worriedly asked, the training isn't really gonna attract punishment if you aren't there, is it? I just looked at feng wan before patting his shoulders and dragging him into the inn. We sat at a table as I asked the waiter to bring some food and liquor. Honestly, I'm not the one paying right. We ate till our hearts content before flying to the roof to drink, actually I flew him to the roof since he could not fly. I remembered when I and Xue Huang had a drink here and what happened after that. So, I dropped the bottle of liquor. "Xing li, what's wrong" feng wan worriedly asked, I shook my head before looking at him "I can't drink now, I get drunk easily and when I drink, I do things I regret later on" Feng wan nodded as he flinched when he looked at the sky, "its night already, the training. Everyone in the palace might be looking for us, lets head out now" I stood up after hearing what he had just said "calm down, would it be appropriate to go out now, its late let's just stay here and head out tomorrow" feng wan looked at me strangely before patting my shoulders, "well...maybe, since you're one of the kings favourite" I scoffed before blowing the strand of my hair that was obstructing my view, I'm could he claim that I'm Xue Huang favourite, "one of his favourites indeed, he's enjoying his night with that lady" I mumbled before holding Feng wan and flying down. We walked back into the inn and reserved two rooms for our stay.
"Xing li" I heard feng wan voice as he knocked on the door. I woke up and stretched as the excessive sunlight shone on me. "Oh, feng wan, I just woke up I want to have my bath" I shouted as I headed towards the bathroom. "Xing li you're here let's go" he waved seeing me coming down stairs before holding my hand as we walked out of the inn and continued our journey to the palace. "So... X-Xing li I don't really know much about you. Which kingdom did you come from" he asked as he scratched his head which made him look so cute. It was true we didn't know much about each other, maybe its time we open up, "yh, I'm from Qin..." before I could continue an arrow came my way, my instincts told me so I spined while holding Feng wan. The arrows continued as we kept dodging, feng wan was using his sword to dodge while I kept using basic skills. "Not bad milady" Feng wan smirked before continuing "milady we can't keep dodging, the arrows are becoming too fast, we can't keep it up" not so long after he finished his statement an arrow pierced through his hands, "Feng wan!!!" I shouted as I backflipped and ran to feng wan, he held his hands as he growled in pain and fainted, I checked his hands and saw they were turning green. The arrows were still being fired but I didn't know what waw protecting me it just felt like something emitted from my body and turned into a barrier. I was so furious as I carried feng wan and walked away. The arrow stopped as I walked down the street. This should be the danger Xue Huang talked about. How did he know this will happen? Is he the mastermind?

"Xing li" I called as I knocked on her door but there wasn't any response so I barged in, "Xing li, Xing li" I called again when I entered the room but there was no one in the room. I ran to the palace gates to ask the guards, "err…... did anyone leave the palace today" I asked which made them look like they were thinking before they snapped their finger, "Oh! Your majesty, no one left the palace today but noble feng wan left with a lady yesterday and they haven't come back yet" I couldn't help but feel it was Xing li who left with feng wan. I was about going out of the palace gates to look for Xing li when the gates bursts open with so much force, I could sense a bit of dark aura as I looked forward and saw Xing li. She hit my shoulder with so much anger as she was walking to the infirmary, her eyes looked so fierce as her hair flew due to the winds. Everyone in the palace rushed out to see what was going on, I noticed she destroyed everything that got in her way "Everyone move out of the way" I shouted as I sprinted to hit her neck but this time she retaliated. She used her powers to hit me but I blocked it, the battle got fiercer as we kept fighting. I kept on trying ways to stop her but none of them worked. The orb's power is really powerful when activated fully, we're lucky she hasn't fully activated it if not we'll all be dead. I heard the sound of someone playing the qin which made us stop fighting, Xing li held her head like the sound of the qin irritated her, so I grabbed the chance to hit her on the neck. The qin stopped as a lady who was holding the qin flew towards me. It was lady Shi Liling the descendant of a very powerful qin immortal. "To hell be with this demon...…why're you holding her" I just looked at Xing li as lady liling kept on shouting, I didn't want to waste more time hearing her shouts so I walked out with Xing li in my arms as I carried her to her chambers. "The king has been bewitched by a demonic lady" I heard lady liling voice from afar.
