"Ah! Xing li you're so heavy" I complained so she looked at me before letting out a loud cry, "*sniff* how am I heavy" I was amazed to see this side of her and I'm probably sure she wont be happy about me seeing it "uhm, X-Xing li, get some rest first" I stuttered before turning back to leave but she held my hand and pulled me closer, "Handsome old man you go nowhere" she said as she stood up and pushed me to the bed. "Uhm, w-w-what are you d-doing" I mumbled before attempting to get up but she pushed me back down. She came close to my face as she smirked before magnificently dancing like she's out of her mind, it was too funny to stop her so I just watched. "Ahh!!" she screamed when she hit her leg on some wood beside the table, "Are you okay?" she didn't care about what I was saying as she stared at me intently, she moved closer to my face. What am I doing? I can't let this happen; she'll be angry if this happens. I pushed her back before leading her back to the bed. "Why don't you want to be with me" she pouted as she looked at me intently, my heart felt weird and I was feeling kind of hot, "err…...Xing li, your drunk sleep tight. Ill be heading back now" she stared at me for a moment before obeying as I turned back to leave after she slept.

Aww!!why does my head hurt so much. I sat down staring blankly at the wall for sometime till a memory flashed through my head as I remembered what happened last night. Ay! foolish me, how am I going to face him. I should really stop drinking. "Xing li, you're awake?" I heard Xue Huang say from the door; no, I can't meet him what'll he think of me, "err…... I-I'm taking a bath" I shouted before making water sound, "ok, when you're done come eat, we'll be heading back today" I felt like the suffocating air around me had gone as I heard footsteps leaving my door. I hurriedly went to take my bath before tying my hair up and picking a small sac which was on the shelf, I found some interesting things so I shoved them in the sac and went down. "Over here" Xue Huang shouted looking like he noticed the titled look on my face so I flinched before walking towards the table as I greeted everyone awkwardly as I passed them. "I hope you're okay we'll be returning today" he stood up after eating a slice of meat, "Are we leaving now?" I asked in a low tone which made him nod at me before attempting to walk so I grabbed his robe, "what about the food, we aren't going to leave it here, are we?" he just smirked at me before organizing his robe, "I ordered them so I choose if I want them or not" I can't believe what he just said, he's such a fool. Does he think its easy to get such nice foods, ok for him its easy but he should at least think about me, a poor orphan I'm not invincible, I rolled my eyes at him before standing with the help of my sword. "Hey handsome old man lets go and stop staring at me like I'm some spirit" he just chuckled like I've said something funny; it was quite annoying. I took some osmanthus cake and shoved it in the small sac when he was not looking as he grabbed his sword and we set off. On our way back I saw lots of things I really wanted to buy but I didn't have so much money and each time I ask Xue Huang he always denied. "Wow!! Are those crystal hair pins, I want one" I jumped as I looked at Xue Huang with a big smile plastered on my face, "please can I got one" I pouted but he denied, he's really a poker face, "I hate you!!" I shouted before walking away. I felt a sharp grip on my hand as I turned back witnessing Xue Huang expression change like he's ready to kill me if I take one more step, trust me I wouldn't want to get into a serious fight with him, he's one of the top 5 strongest king, "Xing li! You can't go anywhere, you're in danger, so you mean you're ready to sacrifice yourself just for a hair pin, I can call the best merchants in the palace to design one for you and foods? you can have the best meals in the palace" he sounded so serious, so I awkwardly forced my hands out of his grips before adhering, but what did he mean by I'm in danger, maybe I'll keep that question till next time he looks like he's really gonna kill me right now "S-Sorry I didn't mean to make you angry" I apologized before keeping up to his pace as we continued our journey.

"Greetings, your majesty" everyone bowed as we got back to the palace, I could feel eyes staring at me, I heard murmur's all around me like 'the demon girl is back', 'demon' but I didn't really care. A beautiful woman rushed to Xue Huang as she wrapped her hands around his waist, "Huang Huang are you alright" Ew!!! She sounded like she was calling a puppy, Xue Huang didn't hug her back as she removed her hands from his waist and turned to me, "you demon, how dare you come back to this palace" she shouted before turning to Xue Huang angrily "What did she do to you? Why did you bring her back to this kingdom? Have you been bewitched, why aren't you saying anything" she cried as she held Xue Huang's cloth. Xue Huang kept a straight face which made me chuckle. He pushed her before walking away, I stuck my tongue out at her before hoping away to 'Huang Huang' hahaha!! that name made me laugh. "Taojie" I was so hungry so I called taojie to get me some palace foods. I actually never knew that palace foods taste heavenly because I stayed in some cranky house alone since my uncle who lived with me also died ten years after my parents. I heard my parents died twenty-one years ago when I was born, I actually never got to see them and when I ask old villagers they always said 'I don't know' or 'never heard of them' which was quite annoying, it pains me whenever I see parents taking care of their children while I grew up with none. Yh talking about osmanthus cake there are still some in my sac but they might be squashed by now. "Oh! Thanks, I'll go get it myself" I stormed out to meet the king after saying those words, I wasn't going to sit in my chambers without having food. I was on my way to the king's chamber when I bumped into someone, "Oh careful, milady" I looked up only to see feng wan staring at me "oh! Feng wan what brings you here", he stared at me before averting his gaze "err…...I-I came to see you after I heard you came back after joining the king to challenge the spirit" he shyly confessed, I just shook my head before wrapping my hands around his neck as we walked. "Err… my lady I have some important things to do, we can talk over a drink tomorrow" feng wan said as he ran towards the imperial majesty hall. I was still focused on my goal of meeting the king so I walked further to his chambers, I slightly opened the door and saw that woman who called Xue Huang, Huang Huang earlier. I was amazed to see how she was touching him, my felt sore so I immediately ran away as I held my chest.
