"Hey, let go of me", I shouted while struggling to remove my hands from his tight grip. Unfortunately, his grips were so firm so I had to give up. "wait you handsome old man, leave me alone" I shouted at the top of my voice but it was a thick dark forest, no one could hear me "hey lady, stop shouting" he insisted while using his hands to cup my mouth, I bite his hands so hard that he had to remove his hands "take her to the palace and don't let her escape" he ordered those men who he called his guards while still holding me "you handsome old man, get your filthy hands away from me, if you let go of my hands ill go with you" obviously I was lying I had plans of running away but the man did not say a word he just threw me to the guards who kept me on their horses. Wait is this handsome old man going to leave me here "hey handsome old man" I screamed but he just acted like he didn't hear me. Ah he's just a poker face like king Luo gengxin, the king of qin hu kingdom, maybe he also doesn't have much friends due to his character, thinking of friends I miss my two best friends Yi shun and Han bi, what would they do without me.

I must have seen that girl somewhere, maybe at the castle grounds. "Wait was she here for the execution" the girls had hope in their eyes after hearing my question "yes, she's quite brave. She was the one who stayed back then on the castle ground when everyone ran away, had it been I also stayed back with her then this wouldn't have happened", one of the girls blamed, "don't worry ill send guards to look for her, you may take your leave", those girls thanked me as they turned back and left. I couldn't help thinking of where she could be and who could've kidnapped her, she's quite good at martial arts, but I'm sure we would find her soon.

"Ahh" I screamed in pain when I moved my neck, I had to massage my neck because I felt it was sore. "My lady, are you alright" a girl came running to me. "Who are you, where am I" I questioned. "Wait my lady calm down, I'm the maid the king assigned to you and you are in Xin men kingdom, if you have any more question feel free to ask" the maid explained as she was massaging my neck since she noticed it was sore. I shoved her away before she could continue and ran to the door, as soon as I opened the door, I saw two swords in an x form stopping me, I looked right and left and saw two guards standing in front of my door holding the swords that were stopping me from moving further. "What are you guys doing in front of a woman's door this is not accepted" I complained but they didn't care to look at me, they talked like they were made to say things at the same time "you are not allowed to leave this room". What, like they mean they are caging me here, come on I like being free, you guys can't cage me here, I'm gonna escape. The first thing I thought of was the window but it couldn't fit me, I looked around but there wasn't any other way so I just had to unwillingly give up. "Greetings my lady", "what" I replied in a stressed tone to Tao Jie, the maid that was assigned to me. The maid brought a lot of food and trust me this was the only thing that could make me stay here. The aroma was amazing and I'm sure the taste would be heavenly, but there was a problem, is it poisoned? Why would they give so much food to a person like me and I don't even know the reason I'm here yet. I smelled the food but I couldn't sense anything like poison so I just started digging in. I was munching on my food when I heard those guard shout "Greetings, your majesty", I was so terrified because their voice echoed which made it sound like they were beasts. The so-called king walked into my chambers and I remembered "handsome old man" I shouted looking at how he was adjusting his robe. He had sapphire eyes with blonde hair which made him look old and fierce as it was packed in a pony tail with two fallen hair each on one end. He had well shaped nose with cute tiny lips, his body structure was amazingly perfect. "Lady, lady" the so-called king shouted, I didn't hear because of the fact that I was admiring his perfect face until he waved his hands in front of my eyes "aishh" I slapped his hands and found out he was looking at me intently "handsome old man, did I do anything wrong" I asked looking at him intently and waiting for his response "my name is Xue Huang, you can as well stop calling me that ridiculous name" the so called king insisted, well this is getting weird I don't normally exchange names with people but I'll make an exception "well, I'm Xing li and I'll call you whatever I want you poker face", "you sure got some nerves, being disrespectful to the king, let me introduce my self once more, I'm king Xue Huang", I wasn't really shocked because I already thought that a while ago "ok,..... well, how am I meant to mind that, I already knew", "YOU DON'T THE RIGHT TO TALK TO ME LIKE THIS, ARE YOU PICKING A FIGHT" the kings voice sounded so fierce, "Well if someone's picking a fight it's you, you are the one who brought me here without my permission. YOU KIDNAPPED ME", the king was pissed as to what I had just said. He brought out his sword and pointed it at my neck, my hands moved on its own as I brought out my sword which was at my waist, I used my sword to hit his sword that was being pointed at my neck, we immediately got into a serious fight. Due to the fact we were fighting in my chamber and its not suitable for fighting, I tripped and was about to fall when I dragged Xue Huang so we fell together. Our faces were so close that I could admire his face properly, but the situation was getting awkward, so Xue Huang got up "u-um, well don't get me angry again" he mumbled before turning back, I was baffled as to why he brought me here "hey handsome old man, oh I mean Xue Huang, why did u bring me here", he didn't answer question before walking away.

"Greetings, your majesty" peng limy closest servant greeted. I had a confused look on my face contemplating if I should tell him or not, "I think she is...".
