"You—ugh, I will—"
"You will what?" I clicked my tongue. "Hey, if I am Hazel, should you or should you not kneel under my feet? Hm? I'm the Luna of this pack."
She snorts, "You're nuts."
"I know."
"I-I will make sure the Madam hears all this!"
"Madam? Do you mean Madam Pamela Alazzar, mother of Alpha Sharx?"
The maid tried to shake off my wrist but failed as soon as I kicked her shin.
"ACK! This- this b-tch!"
"You know, I respect Madam Pamela and always trying to be under her grace. But this situation doesn't seem to allow me to do that."
"Eugh— let me go!"
"Hmm, you mentioned earlier that I should get ready. Where do I have to go in this early morning?"
"Yo-you are crazy! Of course, you have to greet Madam and cook her breakfast!"
"The Madam of Alazzar family ordered her daughter-in-law to cook her breakfast daily? Not the family's chef?" I scoff. "What era is this? She doesn't look like it, but she's a boomer, huh?"
I yanked the maid's hair for the last time before throwing her to the side, causing her to hit the dressing table.
"You crazy bitch!" The maid charged at me, but oops, she stopped when a glass flew towards her.
I threw it precisely, just enough to scrape her cheeks. The glass shattered as it hit the wall behind her, but it wasn't the last.
"Come here, if you dare," I smirked, throwing glass, vase, and other things I could grab before the maid's feet.
I should have let her know since the start that I was the crazy b-tch in this area.
"I will report all this to Madam!"
"Yeah, yeah, do what you want."
The maid turned her back and scurried away.
BANG!
Finally, I'm alone.
I took a deep breath and hurried to put on a pajama robe near the bed. I tied the belt tightly and stared at the door with determination. I don't have time for dilly dally, you see.
"I have to meet Apha Sharx and explain everything quickly. That I am Maya Maureen, not the sinner, Hazel Harzbloom."
The longer I stay in this body, the crueler death will come to me.
I will not get killed by my crush's hand.
Never.
I strode toward the big window, scanning the area outside.
From the looks of it, I was in a room on the third floor of this mansion. From the landscape that stretches out in front of me, I believe I'm in the main mansion of the Alazzar family— the main house of the Moon Shone Pack.
A place that cannot be entered by just anyone, even if he is this country's president.
I always dreamed of waking up in this place one day. Oh crap, my dream came true but in such a twisted way.
I stretched my head out the window. I was looking around like a thief making her escape. Then, I caught a movement of a black sedan that I recognized at one glance.
"That's his work car!"
The car had just exited the garage and stopped before the fountain.
'He's still here. I have to hurry to meet him.'
I sprinted toward the door, opened it, and then sprinted into the hallway.
As I made my haste, I didn't see a single person. The sound of my reckless footsteps echoed throughout the space.
At the end of the hallway, I saw an elevator that showed a change on its display screen. This meant that someone was inside it and coming down here.
My instincts screamed that whoever it was would only hinder her, just like that maid did.
As I tried to go down the stairs next to the elevator, my steps halted as many men in black uniforms made their way up.
'Damn it!'
At the same time, the elevator bell rang, and then the door slid open.
A group of women came out of the elevator.
The rude maid—still with her lips bleeding, stood beside a middle-aged lady with an aura of blinding beauty.
That beautiful lady stood in the center of them, leading the group.
'Madam Pamela...' I gulped down hard.
Madam Pamela opens her mouth. "Look at you. Where are you going this early morning wearing such lowly clothes, Hazel?"
From how she spoke to me, I mean, to this body. It was obvious she hated Hazel. If it were any other day, I would support Madam Pamela and even cheer her to bully Hazel.
But not now. Not while I was still in Hazel's body.
I glanced to the side, realizing I was already trapped with the guards. There's nothing I could do in this situation.
"Greeting you, Madam Pamela. It is truly an honor to be graced with your presence so early at morning. It would be great to spend a little time together over coffee, but I have something to do right now. Let's make an appointment another time," I curtsied gracefully.
"What?" She gasp.
I turned around at the speed of light and opened the door to a nearby room.
"What are you doing?! Catch her!" Shout someone.
I sprinted once again with all my might to reach the window. Wasting no time to hesitate, I opened the window and jumped out.
I could hear the loud gasps of the women and the guards following behind me.
'F-ck! I'm so crazy! Jumping from the third floor?!'
Oh well, whatever. This is not my body, anyway. Everything will be fine once I meet him.
Thrud! Brak!
I landed on my feet, then rolled around on the grass next to the entrance stairs of the mansion.
"Aw—ouch aw, darn it!"
Even though I could feel all the bones crushing from the soles of my feet to the top of my head, I eventually breathed a sigh of relief. I saw the black car not far from where I was crouching.
When I was about to walk towards the car, I heard a man's low, deep voice, like it had come out of a deep cave.
"Running away?" He asked.
I turned my head to the voice as if bewitched. Looking up, my jaw dropped. "Whoa, it's Alpha Sharx in the flesh!"
