Chapter 197 - Chapter 197: The White Dragon and Moon God!

Dylan didn't waste any time. After all, the key challenge in battling Sada AI and Turo AI was ultimately the two Paradise Guardian Dragons.

As for the earlier Pokémon? They were nothing more than appetizers.

"Who is this guy, really?"

Arven stared at Dylan's back, astonished by the sheer strength he had just witnessed.

Having faced Paradox Pokémon himself, Arven knew just how terrifying they were. His loyal Mabosstiff had been gravely injured by one.

Yet, the two Paradox Pokémon they had just encountered—whose presence felt far more threatening than the one that attacked him—had been defeated instantly.

This is beyond ridiculous!

"Scream Tail!"

"Iron Bundle!"

Sada AI and Turo AI quickly sent out their second Pokémon. Scream Tail and Iron Bundle materialized on the battlefield.

But…

"Moongeist Beam."

"Flamethrower."

Dylan remained perfectly composed as he gave his commands.

BOOM!

Another pair of deafening explosions. Turo AI had even ordered Iron Bundle to use Protect, but it made no difference—Moongeist Beam tore through it with ease.

Another one-shot.

It was clear that while the AIs used Champion-level Paradox Pokémon, they were little more than clouds of smoke before Dylan's Reshiram and Lunala.

One after another, the Paradox Pokémon fell.

And as the defeated Pokémon piled up, the energy radiating from Sada AI and Turo AI began to weaken.

"This… this can't be!!"

Finally, with the thunderous defeat of Fluttermane and Iron Valiant, the two AIs seemed to physically slump, as if drained of power.

For a moment, the battlefield fell into silence.

"Is it over?"

"Did we really beat them? So now we can shut down the time machine, right?"

"Probably…?"

Lillie, Ilene, and Arven whispered among themselves, uncertain yet hopeful.

Dylan narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Thank you, Dylan. You've done well. At last, the time mach…"

The black platform descended once more. Sada AI struggled to lift herself, a faint, gratified smile appearing on her face.

Her voice was still halting, occasionally breaking between words as her system faltered, her consciousness incomplete from the strain.

"...has been stopped. You've halted the… Professor's wishes. Truly, thank you."

Sada AI's voice was weak, her body trembling as she spoke. It seemed she was using the last of her strength.

But just as the atmosphere began to calm, the warning lights in the underground space began flashing red.

'Warning: Anomaly detected in the safety system. Anomaly detected in the safety system.'

The mechanical voice of the time machine echoed ominously throughout the space.

'The time machine is in a dangerous state. The time machine is in a dangerous state.'

The underground space darkened, and a strange, foreboding glow enveloped the room.

"What's happening?!"

The sudden change left Arven shocked.

"This… could it be…?!"

Both Sada AI and Turo AI's expressions changed drastically.

'To eliminate the anomaly, activating Paradise Defense Protocol.'

The icy, mechanical voice of the time machine reverberated through the space.

"What…? Did the Professors program this to ensure the time machine couldn't be shut down under any circumstances?"

Turo AI let out a bitter laugh—a strange emotion for an AI to express.

Dylan calmly opened the Luxury Ball in his hand, and Kyurem appeared behind him.

'Sealing all Poké Balls not linked to Sada and Turo's IDs.'

'Initiating program… gathering Terastal energy…'

The time machine's voice continued as both Sada AI and Turo AI's bodies began to undergo partial crystallization.

The AIs attempted to resist, clearly unwilling to fight anymore, but they were powerless. In their final moments of clarity, they turned to Dylan.

"Sorry, Dylan… but we'll need to trouble you again. Defeat us…"

Their expressions turned cold and emotionless once more, their eyes glowing with a sinister light as their consciousnesses were hijacked.

Reaching into their lab coats, the two AIs pulled out crimson Luxury Balls and pointed them at Dylan.

The Paradise Defense Protocol was issuing its challenge!

Two beams of white light burst forth, accompanied by a savage roar and a low, icy dragon's growl. Two massive dragons materialized before Dylan.

"What kind of Pokémon are those?"

Arven froze in place.

To the left stood a bipedal, crimson dragon with a long, thick tail. Its body was adorned with white, spiked fur on its head and tail, and a wheel-like structure rested on its chest. Its aura was feral and terrifying.

'Beep~ Koraidon. Fighting/Dragon type. Paradox Pokémon.

Ability: Orichalcum Pulse.

Moves: Close Combat, Outrage, Counter, Collision Course, Flamethrower, Brick Break, Drain Punch…

Description: This seems to be the Winged King mentioned in ancient explorer's accounts. It is said to have shattered the earth with its fists. (Full Form)'

It was Koraidon.

Dylan's gaze shifted to the Pokémon on the right.

Its sleek, high-tech design gave it an air of regal sophistication. It had a long tail and two claws resting by its sides, with a protruding chest and an aura of cold indifference.

'Beep~ Miraidon. Electric/Dragon type. Paradox Pokémon.

Ability: Hadron Engine.

Moves: Thunder, Wild Charge, Outrage, Dragon Pulse, Parabolic Charge, Discharge, Metal Sound…

Description: This appears to be the Iron Serpent referenced in ancient texts. It is said to have reduced the land to ash with its lightning. (Full Mode)'

These two Pokémon were clearly powerful.

Even Lillie could feel it—this overwhelming, majestic pressure was nearly on par with Reshiram and Lunala. She bit her lip nervously.

"Brother?"

"No problem."

Dylan remained calm. He had tested it earlier: with the Paradise Defense Protocol active, a special electromagnetic wave now enveloped the underground space, sealing all Poké Balls except those tied to the Professors' IDs.

However, Necrozma had already established a psychic link with him and assured him that it could forcibly break out of its Luxury Ball if needed.

For now, Dylan had Kyurem out and ready to fight.

"Raaawr!"

Koraidon roared, its body glowing faintly red as the underground space was suddenly bathed in harsh sunlight.

Under the Orichalcum Pulse ability, the weather shifted to intense sunlight, boosting Koraidon's attack power.

At the same time, Miraidon's body began to emit purple sparks as the ground crackled with faint electricity.

Hadron Engine activated!

The electric terrain spread across the battlefield, enhancing Miraidon's special attack.

With both the weather and terrain in their favor, the two dragons exuded an overwhelming presence.

"Interesting," Dylan muttered with a smirk.

Though Koraidon and Miraidon didn't carry much weight in the game's storyline, their strength as legendary Pokémon was undeniable—especially these "Second Units," who were strong enough to defeat and banish their "First Unit" counterparts in combat.

"Raaaawr!"

Kyurem let out a furious roar, clearly unimpressed by the two dragons before it.

The oppressive aura Kyurem radiated caused Koraidon and Miraidon to momentarily falter, their gazes growing more serious.

Kyurem's presence was nothing short of monstrous.

"What kind of monster is that?"

Arven couldn't stop trembling. Despite his efforts to stay calm, his body instinctively shivered under Kyurem's overwhelming aura.

Kyurem was standing right behind them—it was terrifying!

"Kyurem, you up for this fight?" Dylan asked with a cheerful grin.

"Raaawr!"

Kyurem grunted in approval. It was bored from lack of action lately. Following Dylan meant it couldn't afford to hibernate anymore—who knew how many centuries would pass if it did?

"Then switch to Black Kyurem."

Electric currents crackled across Kyurem's body as it transformed. In a flash, Black Kyurem stood tall and menacing.

Reshiram and Lunala both shifted slightly to the side, making room for their "family's second-born."

"Raaawr!"

Black Kyurem landed heavily in front of Dylan, its fierce golden eyes locking onto Koraidon and Miraidon.

A dragon? Black Kyurem loved fighting dragons.

"Koraidon, Collision Course!"

"Miraidon, Thunder!"

Sada AI and Turo AI gave their commands simultaneously.

Koraidon roared, its body glowing as it charged forward, becoming a high-speed, spinning fiery wheel.

Miraidon gathered a surge of lightning, preparing to strike.

"Kyurem, Freeze Volt."

Dylan remained calm as he issued his order. Then, with a glance at Miraidon, he smirked.

"Reshiram, Lunala—handle Miraidon as you see fit."

He left the task to them, confident that the duo could handle one Miraidon without his input.

Dylan, you heartless man!

Reshiram and Lunala exchanged glances, seeing the same annoyance reflected in each other's eyes.

The moment Black Kyurem showed up, Dylan didn't even bother to give them proper instructions anymore. How could he?!

What was so special about Black Kyurem? Was it prettier than them? Ugh!

Miraidon's lightning struck toward them, but Reshiram responded with a mighty roar, its tail's turbine igniting with flames.

Overdrive Mode activated!

Lunala, meanwhile, spread its wings wide, glowing like a full moon.

Full Moon Mode activated!

Reshiram unleashed Blue Flare, while Lunala fired Moongeist Beam.

The fiery blue and shadowy beams combined to counter Miraidon's Thunder.

Miraidon: "???"

Lillie blinked in confusion, watching the duo enthusiastically chase Miraidon.

"Why do Reshiram and Lunala look so fired up?"

"They probably just want to finish the battle quickly," Ilene said, also puzzled but impressed.

Meanwhile, Black Kyurem faced Koraidon head-on.

Its Freeze Volt collided with Koraidon's Collision Course, sending shockwaves across the battlefield. Slowly but surely, Kyurem's icy power overwhelmed Koraidon's fiery charge.

With one final surge, Freeze Volt shattered Collision Course, slamming into Koraidon and sending it flying into a crystal wall.

"Even with Orichalcum Pulse, your strength is no match for my Kyurem," Dylan remarked with a faint smirk.

"Kyurem, Icicle Spear."

Black Kyurem roared, summoning a barrage of icy spears that rained down on Koraidon, pinning it to the ground as it howled in pain.

Meanwhile, Dylan glanced over at Reshiram and Lunala, who were relentlessly chasing Miraidon. He nodded approvingly.

"My White Dragon and Moon God—they're amazing as always!"
