THAT WAS MILLENIUMS AGO…..
WELCOME TO THE 21ST CENTURY
No more supernatural creatures were in existence or were just in hiding. They don't exist or so it was thought.
"Hey, I'm Dan and apparently I'm not like my ancestors who came before me. Who kept looking for supernatural creatures in this world. What a joke!!!!"
"Ummm, were you gonna order something???? Cause I could get fired if you don't order anything," said the waitress of a restaurant.
"Get out, Dan, you're not welcome here if you don't order something," the owner of the restaurant said; kicking me out.
As he was kicked out, he came across a strangely lit store. It was dark purple and ominous. Like a pull, he walked over there.
"Hello, what is this store?," asked Dan
"Welcome, fellow traveler. I am just a humble shopkeeper. I hold unusual things here in my humble store. Please take a look around," the shopkeeper gestured at the unusual things around.
Another pull, it was like something was telling him to look around. Hearing a tiny purr, somewhere inside the store, he went to investigate.
"Whoa!!!! What's that?", he asked the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper smiled," it's a human fox hybrid. We call her Kaytine. She's beautiful, no?,", the shopkeeper asked Dan gesturing him to the cage where Kaytine was in. The eyes of Kaytine looked up at Dan.
Kaytine had deep dark brown eyes with dark brown hair with blonde streaks. It pushed her nose to the cage and purred, which her beauty and purring grabbed Dan's attention.
"Yeah, she's indeed beautiful"
"Would you like to hold her?" Asked the shopkeeper
Dan nodded; transfixed by her beauty. The shopkeeper opened the cage and Dan reached in.
"She's not gonna bite, is she?," Dan asked.
The shopkeeper shrugged.
Dan picked Kaytine up and she snuggled into his arms.
"I never seen her get so comfortable with a human before. Usually, she growls at the passerbys. I'll tell you what, you can have Kaytine for free since she's comfortable with you." said the shopkeeper.
Shocked by that, Dan shook his head.
"I couldn't possibly take care of this creature. Indeed she's beautiful, but I don't know how to take care of it. Something so beautiful deserves to be with someone that could take care of her. I…I couldn't….."
The shopkeeper shoved Kaytine to him.
"Dan, my dear friend, it's like taking care of any other pet. You'll do great. She already likes you. Food, water, and everything else a human and pet would need."
Be careful though she gets clingy and jealous easily. The shopkeeper wanted to say, but forgot this little tibit.
