Chapter 60 - CHAPTER 46: Pluto And Blue

Rim worked meticulously, his hands deftly moving as he applied bandages to the figure's wound. He hummed a tune, "Doomsday" by MF DOOM, the melody filling the quiet room. The figure, still unconscious on the sofa, began to stir. As Rim finished securing the bandages, the man suddenly sat up straight, his hand instinctively going to his head.

"Where am I? How long was I out?" he asked, his voice hoarse and disoriented.

"Approximately four hours," Rim replied calmly, continuing to tidy up the medical supplies.

The man looked at Rim, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. "And who are you?"

"I am Rim, a friend to all humans," Rim said, his tone friendly and reassuring.

The man chuckled dryly. "Well, I'm no human, so I guess I should leave."

Rim tilted his head, curiosity piqued. "But you look human."

The man stood up, slowly and carefully, testing his balance. He began to put on his clothes, wincing slightly as he moved. "Thanks for helping me. I really appreciate it."

"You are welcome," Rim responded.

Just as the man was about to open the door, Rim called out, "May I know your name?"

The man paused, his hand on the doorknob. "Pluto," he said simply.

"Pluto," Rim repeated, as if testing the sound of it.

Pluto nodded and turned the knob, opening the door. As he stepped outside, he was met by Blue, who stood there holding a variety of snacks and munching on some.

Blue and Pluto locked eyes, a moment of tension hanging in the air. Blue, nonchalant, offered a bag of snacks. "What, you need some snacks?" he asked, chewing casually.

Pluto's eyes narrowed. In a swift motion, he drew his katana and slashed at Blue. Blue, quick on his feet, stepped back just in time to avoid the strike.

"Who are you?" Pluto demanded, his katana still poised for another attack.

Blue smirked, his demeanor unchanged. "I should be the one asking you that."

The two of them stared at each other, the air thick with anticipation. Neither moved, each assessing the other, waiting for the next move.
