Here she was struggling to make ends meet, while others seemed to have everything on a silver platter.

Alexa's gaze drifted towards a glamorous boutique , where a young woman confidently directed the employees who trembled at the sound of her voice. Looking at them from the sidewalk , her eyes stung as tears welled up,and she hastily looked away.

Had it been that her father listened to the them,she and her family wouldn't have been feeding from hand to mouth.

Her family was one of the wealthiest,but due to the wrong decisions made by her father,they could no longer boast of a square meal.

Lost in thought, Alexa stepped off the curb to cross the road, having seen an advertisement for a sales girl at a restaurant .Her mind was preoccupied by the thought of her either getting or losing the job that ,she failed to look well before crossing.

On instincts, she turned sideways to see a vehicle speeding towards her and before she could react,she felt herself being flunged into the air . Time seemed to stop as her whole life flashed before her and slowly, she caved in to the darkness.
