Ave carefully began to wipe his hair. He had thick, gorgeous black hair that would put a woman's own to shame. It felt smooth to the touch as she wiped it, and she couldn't resist the urge to run her fingers into the strands. She saw his reflection in the mirror; his eyes were closed as she used her comb to brush his hair for him. His relaxed face gave her the pleasure of taking her time in doing his hair before she'd bring up the topic of what she wanted to discuss with him.
"Has Rylan left?" Ave asked immediately as his thoughts came to her mind. She hadn't seen him since morning, and she wouldn't want him to leave just like that without saying goodbye.
