Inside the room Ave entered was covered in dust and cobwebs; it was like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The beds were covered with even more dust, and she looked around for the voice that was calling her name. Her eyes fell on the vanity table where a big mirror was kept. She gasped in shock and disbelief at the sight before her in the mirror. Instead of seeing her reflection, she saw something strange.
The mirror showed images upon images, though Ave didn't recognize them. One in particular caught her attention. It was an image of two little girls playing in a beautiful flower garden. Among the girls, one had red hair that looked so much like Selene's, while the other one had black hair. Their laughter echoed out of the mirror and reached her ears.
Ave frowned as she felt that invisible pull forcing her forward to the mirror.
