Thalia's gray eyes widened as her head hit his solid chest that felt as hard as a rock against her head. She could hear the sound of his steady heartbeat and how he swore under his breath and attempted to step away from her. However, Thalia acted impulsively and raised her hands to grab the front of his shirt as she moved her head back to look up at him.
Looking at his face up close, where he didn't blink for several moments at her actions of gripping his front shirt, he only held her in a displeased stare. His eyes, she noticed for the first time, were hazel, but with more yellow and gray than green. They were like cat eyes, angry predatory cat eyes.
