While Alice, Sybil, and Yoshi were fighting, Pinoy sat at the academy with Sylvie, Kierse, and Coffee. He start a to get irritated and got to up to leave.
"Where are you going?" asked Kierse.
"My friends are out there fighting an entire war by themselves. If those idiots get themselves killed, I'll never forgive myself."
"..."
"I'm going. I know I probably can't do much, but even if I can help just a little, I'll do it."
"Wait... I'll go too."
"What happened to your second thoughts?"
"Yoshi and Sybil are my friends. I can't let my personal frustration prevent me from helping them."
"I-I'm coming too!" Coffee said while standing up. "Alice is my friend."
"Oh no, absolutely not."
"Stop treating me like a little kid! I still outrank you. I can help."
"Wait.. you outrank him?" asked Pinoy. "Kierse, what rank are you again?"
"Aether class."
"So, Coffee... is Paradox."
"No, bigger. To this day, she is the second youngest keeper in history to reach Zenith class."
Pinoy was speechless. "And you're just telling me this now?"
"She's 14 years old."
"And! I'm 15 and I've... you know what, whatever. Both of you are coming. Sylvie."
"Nah, I'm good, I'll just stay here."
"Fine, suit yourself."
Meanwhile, in battle in the city, Sybil was in the heat of combat with Sapphy. Sybil's eyes turned razor sharp, filled with bloodlust and rage.
Sybil clenched her fists, water surging around her body. With a powerful swing of his arm, she launched a wave of water straight at Sapphy. Sapphy raised her arms, summoning a wall of ice to block it. But Sybil was already moving, dashing to Sapphy's side and striking with a powerful roundhouse kick to Sapphy's temple. She followed up with a flying spinning kick, knocking Saphy back into a building. Sapphy rushed at her again, but she had her foot caught by an ice pillar, which made Sapphy. Before she could break out, Sapphy dashed over to her, punching her through several more buildings. Sapphy then rushed at her again. Sybil barely managed to block, and the impact forced her to slide back across the ground.
"This woman's power is unreal." Sybil said under her breath. "She's definitely high Paradox class. Her blows are unbelievably heavy and her skill is impressive."
Sybil formed a massive water lance and threw it at Sapphy. Sapphy retaliated with an ice lance of her own. The two attacks clashed and split the ground beneath them.
"Hey, kid. You're pretty entertaining." commented Sapphy. "But you messed with Star. That's a big mistake. No one gets in Star's way and gets away with it."
"Yeah? Well, there's a first time for everything."
They both paused, panting, but their eyes never left each other. Sybil took a deep breath, her body tensing as she channeled his power. Sapphy's eyes narrowed as he felt the shift, her own energy spiking in response.
She reached her hand into the air and condensed a lot of the water molecules into giant water lances. Then, with a snap of her fingers, she rained them down onto Sapphy. Sapphy weaved the lances while running towards Sybil. Sapphy palmed Sybil's face and tried to slam her to the ground. As Sybil was about to hit the ground, she flipped her body and wrapped her legs around Sapphy's arm. She then twisted her, breaking Sapphy's arm and jumping off her.
Sybil back up as Sapphy groaned in pain and held her broken arm. But then, Sapphy pulled out a phoenix vital and shot it into her view, healing her arm instantly.
Sybil scoffed as her eyes narrowed on Sapphy. "You are so annoying."
They charged at each other, moving with a speed that left after hours. Sapphy's fists were a blur, each punch booming the air as she threw blows that scorched the ground with every miss. Sybil ducked and evaded, her movements swift as lightning, dodging each attack with fluid grace. Finally, Sybil found an opening, delivering an uppercut that connected with Sapphy's jaw, sending her stumbling back.
Sapphy looked back at Sybil, but Sybil didn't let up her attacks. She was relentlessly beating her while she was down.
Meanwhile, Yoshi was doing battle against all the anomalies. A giant snake used its tail to whip him in the air. As Yoshi fell back down, the serpent lunged at him. Yoshi dodged in mid-air and glided his katana through the serpent's scales.
Two juggernaut anomalies rushed at him. One landed a blow, but Yoshi managed to use the surrounding water in the air to cushion the blow. The other one ran at him and threw a punch in Yoshi's face. He managed to dodge and grab the juggernaut's arm. He then twisted and snapped his arm in half. Yoshi then slashed off his head.
The other juggernaut tried to charge at Yoshi, but he was run over and killed by a race car anomaly that was driving toward Yoshi. The car hit Yoshi, sending him flying back into another building. It drove it again, moving even faster. Yoshi used the water molecules in the air and condensed them around the tired. The tires became soaked and the car anomaly started spinning out of control. Yoshi then slashed the car in half with his katana. But then, he was surrounded by dozens of more anomalies.
"Are you kidding me? You guys just don't seem to stop."
"No, they don't." said a mysterious, feminine voice. Out of the crowd of anomalies walked Willow and she had a knight chess piece on her neck.
"W-Willow? Don't tell me..."
"I don't know why you are so shocked. But yes, I am on the Star side. I never told you this but I'm Star's little sister."
"..." Yoshi sighed and took out his sword, pointing it at Willow. "As a keeper, it's my job to protect humanity from anyone who would threaten it. That includes you."
"You're gonna turn your own sword against me, you sister."
"You're no sister of mine, just a monster."
"The amount of stuff you do for that dog hire compared to me is astoundingly foolish." Willow's body began to warp into her beast form. She a furry female minotaur that was nearly 4 meters tall. She had black fur covering her whole body. She had shiny golden eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. She had large horns on her head, cow ears, and a cow tail. She had one revealing golden armor and large golden boots.
