Wataru and his companions had another reason for visiting the royal capital. They had been advised by Progano Keris, the enigmatic figure they encountered within the mysterious Corridor of Time and Space, to visit a specific church.
"I suppose this is the first time I've ever heard a god's name," Wataru mused aloud.
"That would be Zeitram," Mariel responded with a slight smile. "He's not a widely worshipped deity these days. There isn't even a temple dedicated to him in Nanfun Town, which is why we had to come all the way here."
Wataru nodded, his tone thoughtful. "The Gate has been such a blessing for me, reuniting me with all of you, but I guess not everyone feels the same way about it."
"For most people, the Gate is little more than a legend," Mariel explained. "Even if they've heard of it, they don't know where it is, let alone how to use it. That's why the more prominent deities like the Sun God, Moon Goddess, or the War God are much more popular."
