On November 1st, Wataru found himself in the southern port town of the otherworld. After spending some time fitting winter suits and coats with Buck, his new attire was still a ways from completion. It had grown cooler in Japan, requiring long sleeves, but the otherworld was even colder.
Mariel and the other girls now wore clothing with less skin exposure, which was a bit disappointing for Wataru. However, their beauty and grace made even modest outfits appear fashionable. Following some advice, Wataru had bought a few autumn outfits in Japan. Walking with such a group attracted attention, reminding him that they needed to address Croché's unique appearance sooner rather than later.
"This is the magistrate's mansion, huh? It's huge," Wataru remarked.
"It doubles as an administrative facility," Mariel explained. "The actual living quarters aren't that large."
"Is that so?"
