Professor Morris straightened in his chair, adjusting his posture as though ready to listen seriously.
It seemed like he was now fully prepared to engage in the discussion.
Wataru had many questions that had remained unanswered, even after consulting with Mariel, Ea, and Crosse. However, with Professor Morris, perhaps some clarity could be achieved. There was so much they didn't know about the shrines and gates, which left him brimming with curiosity.
"First of all, why is it that you and I can access different numbers of gates?" Wataru asked.
"Hmm. This ties deeply into the original purpose for which the gods created the gates," Morris replied.
"It was for the benefit of slower species, right?" Wataru confirmed.
Morris nodded in satisfaction. "I see you've been paying attention."
