Chapter 39 - Twilight

It was twilight.

The sun was setting behind the hill, painting the sky a deep red. The silhouette of Baron Moie's castle cast a dark shadow against the crimson backdrop of the evening.

"What a beautiful sky... When I think about it, I never had the time to enjoy just looking at the sky like this."

"You've done a great job. Negotiating with nobles must have been really tough," Marielle said.

"Master, thank you so much. Really, thank you," Eir added.

"Well, now that it's over, it wasn't such a bad experience. And if I plan to sell good products in the future, I'll probably have to deal with nobles more often anyway," Wataru replied.
