The area near the large wall separating the men's and women's baths was likely a place designed for maintenance staff to move freely between the two sections for cleaning. There was a door tucked away in a corner, slightly recessed and out of plain view. Although Wataru had his eye on that area earlier, there had been no one there just moments ago.
Yet, when he glanced over again, there was now a man standing there.
Oddly enough, the man was fully clothed despite being in the hot spring, which made him stand out.
At first, Wataru wondered if the man might be an employee.
However, his movements were suspicious, as if he was constantly looking over his shoulder. To make matters worse, Wataru recalled that all the employees wore matching uniforms, and this man's clothing didn't fit the description.
