The Cooling Garment was something Wataru had bought at the Welcome Trading Company before. It was especially useful in Japan's brutal summer heat, and he couldn't imagine being without it. Still, having just one outfit meant he wanted to get another.
Mariel seemed to be struggling with the heat too; she looked a bit down. The moment Air stepped outside, her tail drooped, and she looked exhausted. Even so, her commitment to doing her job as a bodyguard was commendable.
Wataru fully trusted Air's advice on work. That's why he wanted to buy her something nice if he found it.
They stepped out of the gate and immediately started walking.
"Looks like today is going to be busy," Wataru remarked.
"The main reason we came to this town today is to visit the Apothecary Guild, right?" Mariel asked.
"Yeah, but there's a lot more to do," Wataru replied.
