I dusted myself off with a soft smile on my face, watching the crowd grow even more disgusted by the passing minute as I simply existed in their space.
"Is that the extent to which the desperation has gotten to? Bringing a Lafrah witch as your wife? Bringing her here to be introduced while knowing how despicable they are as a species–"
"I don't quite appreciate being spoken about in such a manner while I stand right here. Don't you think that's rather disrespectful of you?" I quizzed, cocking my head to the side.
Gasps and murmurs filled the room once more, much more than earlier, as the man who spoke ill of me stood there in shock, "Arthur! Does she have any idea who she is speaking to!?" He yelled.
"Ahvi is my mate," Arthur murmured, barely audible, "she is not like the few you have met that made you pass such a judgment on them, so please, let us go in peace. Don't provoke her unless I can't tell you what might just happen from there."
