"How was it, sir? You spent a bit more time today visiting their graves," Jensen, who had just arrived at Damian's room, asked as he looked at the old man.
They were both residents of District 4, so they had no place to stay in District 1. However, Jensen had arranged their trip meticulously, and the two of them were able to stay in two rooms at the Dawn Virus Research Center complex.
"I visited their graves like usual, but I couldn't give them the two buckets you bought me," Damian said.
The room consisted of a bed, a closet, and a long sofa, and the two men sat on the sofa side by side.
"Why didn't you give them the two buckets of flowers, sir?" The younger man asked again.
Damian paused for a moment instead of answering immediately, and he silently stared at the younger man sitting next to him. The silent gaze only made Jensen feel more curious, but he also didn't dare to push the older man to answer his curiosity right away.
