"You're... you're joking, right?" With great hesitation, Finn responded to Luca's confession.
"You know I can't joke," Luca calmly replied.
Even if Luca didn't answer yes or no, Finn would have understood the meaning behind the answer. He remained silent, and only his azure eyes continued to stare at Luca's emerald eyes. It was like his heart was hiding many things that he couldn't say, and even his eyes didn't know what to say as he continued to stare at the younger man.
"You should fall in love with someone better. Not me," Finn finally answered, looking away from the raven-haired man.
"Why?" Luca asked immediately. "Why can't I fall in love with you? Is it because I'm a man?"
"It has nothing to do with gender," Finn replied, still refusing to look at the younger man. "I'm just not a good person, so you should find someone better."
