It was like someone put a microphone right in front of his chest that was connected to a headphone, and that was why he felt like he could hear his own heartbeat right next to his ears. He was even worried that Finn would be able to hear his loud heartbeat, and he squeezed his eyes shut even tighter. His hands even clenched into fists in his lap as he waited for what was about to happen to him.
But the next thing he heard was a sound that seemed to be coming from a phone, and he immediately opened his eyes again. He could see that Finn's face was no longer right in front of him, and he blinked as he tried to process what had just happened to him.
"Ah, it's time for me to take a shower," Finn said, and Luca finally regained his composure after hearing what he said.
He could still feel how his heartbeat had not completely calmed down, but he responded to the blonde anyway, "Did you set an alarm to remind you to shower?"
