Chereads / My Boyfie is a Zombie [BL] / Chapter 4 - A GLASS OF BLOOD

Chapter 4 - A GLASS OF BLOOD

"Why should I give you a glass of water?"

"That's because I'm too tired. Your unit is on the fourth floor, and there's no elevator in this old building. Can't you see that I'm sweating profusely right now? I've lost a lot of fluids in my body, and I might faint later when I go down the stairs if you don't give me some water."

Luca's question was short and simple, but he received a long answer, and that kind of thing annoyed him the most. He was an efficient person, and every second mattered to him. That was why he felt that the delivery man was just wasting his time.

"I don't have a glass of water. I only have a glass of blood," Luca replied, and the delivery man instantly jolted after hearing what he said.

"W-what do you mean? Why is there a glass of blood in your apartment? Are you a murderer or something? Who was the person you just killed?"

Luca was still staring at the taller man lazily as he replied, "I didn't kill anyone, but if you keep bothering me, then I won't hesitate to stab you in the stomach before squeezing your blood to make a glass of blood for you."

"…" Once again, the delivery guy looked shocked after hearing Luca's words, and a hint of fear could even be seen in his azure eyes.

However, even though it was clear that he was scared, he didn't move from where he stood at all, and Luca also continued to stare at him blankly. It was like a staring contest, and Luca refused to admit defeat as he continued to stare at the man. However, in the end, the humanity in him won out as he decided to let the delivery man into his apartment before he walked towards the kitchen.

The delivery man grinned at him happily, and even if the apartment owner didn't invite him to sit down, he seemed comfortable as he calmly sat on the sofa in the living room.

He turned his gaze to look around him. Everything was simple in the living room. There was a long sofa and a single sofa accompanied by a coffee table. He had taken off his shoes in the foyer, and beneath his socks was a dark blue carpet. On top of the carpet was something that looked like a television. He could only assume because the object was dismantled, and there were also various pieces of equipment around it.

While he was still observing his surroundings, he heard footsteps, and he immediately turned his gaze towards the source of the sound. Instantly, he saw the grumpy figure of the owner walking towards him with a glass of water in his hand. He immediately smiled at the black-haired man.

"Drink and leave," the black-haired man ordered as he handed him the glass full of water, and the delivery man accepted it with a mumble of thanks.

Luca chose to stand in front of the uninvited guest, and it was clear that he was ready to kick the guest's ass once the guest finished drinking the water. Unfortunately, the guest's throat seemed too narrow and could only allow a small amount of liquid to pass, and that was why the man drank very slowly.

That was clearly testing Luca's patience, but before he could snap at the blonde again, the blonde suddenly pulled the glass from his lips before saying, "I'm a new employee in the Food Supply Department, and this is my first day on the job."

"I didn't ask anything," Luca replied coldly.

"You didn't ask me, but I kindly introduced myself. That's because I'll be the one in charge of delivering lunch to the residents of this building from now on. We'll be meeting twice a week, so it's best if we get to know each other, right?"

"I don't want to get to know anyone, and I don't want to know who you are either," once again, a cold response left Luca's lips.

"Is that so?" The delivery man replied calmly. "That hurts me a bit, but I'm not going to give up that easily. I plan on getting close to every single one of my customers, including you, my dear customer."

"…" Luca seemed to have no idea how to respond to the blonde's stubbornness.

The blonde didn't say anything else either, and he just smirked before continuing to elegantly sip his glass of water as if he were a noble or something. Eventually, the glass was empty once again, and Luca reacted quickly by snatching it from the man's hand.

"Now, please leave," Luca said. The empty glass was in his right hand, probably ready to smash the delivery man if he insisted on bothering him any longer.

Luckily, the man immediately stood up from the couch after hearing his order, and Luca thought that the unnecessary drama with the man was finally over. Unfortunately, the man didn't immediately walk towards the door and instead continued to smile at him.

"I've known you for almost two months, and it turns out your real personality is the same," the delivery guy said, and Luca suddenly frowned in confusion after hearing what he said.

Suddenly, the delivery guy was acting very familiar to him, but he was sure that he didn't know the person at all. "Who are you?" He asked.

"Didn't you say earlier that you didn't want to get to know me?" Instead of answering, the delivery man asked back, and that once again tested Luca's patience.

"Just get out before I call the Security Bureau to arrest you!" Luca gritted his teeth and replied.

"No need to call the Security Bureau. They should be focused on keeping our block safe from zombies, and they don't need to deal with this little problem," the delivery man smiled as he replied, then extended his hand towards the shorter man, probably expecting a handshake before he continued, "I'll continue introducing myself since you changed your mind and want to know more about me. Hi, my name is LovelyLilGurl, and it's nice to meet you in person, Wolfie."
