Luca managed to hold back the urge to throw Finn in the trash, but he also didn't respond to what the man said to him, considering it an unnoticeable fart.
Silently, he led Finn to his apartment, and the man didn't say anything either, probably guessing that he was planning on taking him to his apartment. Once they were inside his residence, Luca carelessly left Finn in the living room, not caring what the taller man would do there.
He walked to his bedroom and then opened his closet to find something there. His hands moved to several clothes hanging in the closet, but then his choice fell on a black T-shirt. He took the hanger out of the closet, and he looked at the T-shirt once more before closing the closet again, then he walked out of the room.
He then found Finn standing in the living room instead of sitting on the couch, and he couldn't help but think that the blond was being quite considerate this time. He wouldn't have to clean that couch later.
"The bathroom is over there. There's soap and shampoo you can use there, and you can also find a new towel in the cabinet. You can take this T-shirt and wear it later. You don't have to return it to me," Luca said, handing the T-shirt to the blonde standing in front of him, while his free hand pointed to the closed door on the left side of the living room.
For a moment, Finn followed the finger, but then he moved his hand to accept the T-shirt, examining it before asking, "Is this yours?"
"Do you see anyone else living here?" Instead of asking, Luca asked back.
"I don't see anyone else here, but that doesn't mean you live alone, right? Maybe your parents are just working out and will be back later, right?"
"…" Luca didn't answer this time, but it was clear to see how his expression changed after hearing what Finn had just said. He had looked annoyed before, but then there was a hint of sadness in his eyes after hearing the man's question.
Perhaps his emotions were a little shaken by the question, but then he took a deep breath to calm himself down before saying, "Just accept my kindness and stop prying into my personal life, okay?"
Finn probably noticed the change in expression, and perhaps he could also guess that the shorter man didn't want to talk about his parents with him. That was why he didn't say anything else and just nodded at the shorter man before walking towards the bathroom.
After Finn left, Luca let out a heavy sigh before dragging his body to sit on the sofa. "Today was so tiring. I didn't remember that annoying guy would deliver the lunch today. Should I call the Food Supply Department and tell them that I don't need free lunch anymore?" He muttered to himself, suddenly looking very tired.
Today's events were truly unexpected for him. He didn't expect to bump into someone while taking out the trash, and he also didn't expect to bring someone to his residence today. He even let someone use his bathroom. Apart from himself, only Jamie had ever used his bathroom, and that was because he never had guests in his residence.
Jamie himself had never taken a shower in his apartment, but now he heard the sound of water from the bathroom, indicating that someone was taking a shower there. For some reason, he had a strange image of a man standing under the shower with water slowly wetting his body.
"Wait! Why did I suddenly see something like that in my head?" He quickly shook his head to dismiss the strange image. "Maybe I've been too lonely all this time, and that's why I got such an image in my head, even though it was just a man taking a shower in my place."
Luca tried to calm himself down by taking a few deep breaths, and after a few minutes had passed, he heard the sound of the door opening, and he reflexively turned to the source of the sound. A man came out from behind the door, and Luca was forced to hold his breath when he saw that the man was not wearing anything to cover his upper body, revealing his slender but trained body that was still slightly wet.
He then abruptly got up from the couch before asking the man, "Why aren't you wearing the T-shirt I gave you?"
Finn kept walking and only stopped when he was in front of Luca. In his right hand was his dirty uniform, while in his left hand was the black T-shirt that he received from Luca. He raised his left hand before answering, "I accidentally dropped it on the bathroom floor, and now it's wet. Can you give me another shirt?"
Luca gritted his teeth in annoyance, but then he snatched the wet shirt from Finn's hand before stomping angrily to his bedroom. A few moments later, he came out of the room with a gray T-shirt in his hand, and he immediately threw it at the blonde man.
"Just wear that damn shirt and get out of here! I've taken enough responsibility for what I did to you earlier, haven't I? Now you should leave before I kick your ass out!" Luca ordered, arrogantly crossing his arms in front of his chest as he glared at the blonde.
Finn accepted the gray T-shirt and immediately put it on. After his upper body was covered by the T-shirt, he shook his head carelessly, causing a few drops of water to fall from his wet hair onto the floor.
"This kind of compensation is not enough," Finn replied. "I parked my motorcycle in front of this building, and I left the lunch boxes for the residents of this building on top of it. Follow me, and help me distribute it to everyone. I will forget about the incident after we are done with this task."
