Corina had directed Orion in the direction of Mystic palace. It had been a far more difficult task than the princess had originally thought possible. But thankfully, after some bickering back and forth, the small fae was able to move them directly inside.
The bright light faded, and Corina hunched over, clutching her stomach. "I never want to do that again."
Orion laughed and took a seat on the dresser across from the bed. "You made it home. That's really the only damn thing you could ask for."
"Y-Yeah."
Alexander immediately climbed out of the bed and rushed to Corina's side. His mind completely drowned out the rather supernatural way his wife had appeared before him, and the fairy may as well not have been present as his brain didn't even comprehend the small humanoid.
He scooped Corina up in his arms and held her close. "Corina," he whispered. "I was so scared when I heard of your abduction."
