Soft snores filled the room as the princess turned onto her side. She pulled the covers up over her head and snuggled against... something. She moved her hand against it. Something moved against it in response.
What a weird dream...
"My princess," a loving voice hummed.
"Alexander," she muttered in her sleep, having dreamt about him the entire time.
Alexander had a huge grin on his face. He thought it was adorable; Corina thought of him even in her dreams. He didn't want to wake her, but he realized it was getting late. Not that anyone would question the two of them sleeping far past the rest of the palace, but he felt it was his duty to greet her happily every morning.
"Corina," he cooed. "Wake up, my princess."
Alexander felt his wife rubbing her fingers against the wings on his back. He shuddered from the way it felt, but thought it was endearing the way her naked body was curled up against him. He didn't think he should move.
