Corina took a seat against the headboard and closed her eyes. She started to think about Orion and his magic, and to her surprise, when her eyes opened, he saw fluttering in the air in front of her face.
"Oh, what a coincidence. I was thinking about you."
"I know," Orion gave her a cheeky smile.
"What?"
"Your thoughts can summon me. If you think about me hard enough, I'll come to you immediately."
"That's amazing!" Corina gasped.
"See? I'm more useful than the duke," the fae chuckled. "Who needs him when you have a man with real magic?"
Corina laughed and poked Orion's stomach. "Maybe you're right!" She exclaimed to humor her winged friend.
He took a seat on the bed in front of her and crossed his legs, leaning back while he used his palms to stabilize himself. "So, why were you thinking about me? Did you miss me?"
"I wanted to know more about your magic," she replied. "You said you can manifest your magic fully now?"
