King Gerald brought Lex into the chambers while Alexander spent the morning attending to official duties. Corina watched as the little puppy immediately ran into the room. He began to run circles around the sofa with Orion holding on for dear life.
"FASTER!" Orion yelled out.
Corina shook her head from side to side, then took a seat in the chair behind Alexander's desk. She looked up from the excited duo to her father. "Thank you for making sure Lex was taken care of."
"My pleasure," he replied. "Ensure you future him. He'll end up a valuable asset."
"Valuable asset?"
"Traditionally, shire wolves have been raised in the north to assist in times of war. Essentially, they were bred to become soldiers themselves."
"Wow. That's amazing."
