Will's eyes adjusted slowly to the darkness. He was lying on the floor, his head banging with pain. He tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washed over him, forcing him back down.
As he struggled to clear his head, he heard voices around him. Marcus, his mother, and Naomi were all talking in hushed tones.
"What happened?" Will asked, his voice was faint.
Marcus helped him sit up. "The police arrived just in time," he said. "They took Kareem into custody."
Will's mind was racing. It was over. Kareem was finally behind bars.
But then, he saw Naomi's face. She looked worried, scared.
"What's wrong?" Will asked.
Naomi hesitated. "The police... they're not just here for Kareem," she said. "They're here for us too."
Will's heart sank. What did she mean?
And then, he heard the sound of footsteps, heavy and deliberate.
"Will, Marcus, Rachel, Naomi... you're all under arrest!!!," a voice boomed.
Will's eyes widened in shock. What was going on?
The police officer's words hung in the air like a challenge. Will's mind was Disturbed with questions. What were they being arrested for? What evidence did the police have?
Naomi stood up, her eyes flashing with defiance. "You can't arrest us," she said. "We're the ones who brought down Kareem."
The officer smiled. "You're also the ones who broke into Kareem's headquarters," he said. "You're the ones who hacked into his system."
Will's heart sank. They had been so careful, but somehow the police had found out.
Marcus stood up, his eyes were fired up. "We had to do what we had to do," he said. "Kareem was a dangerous man."
The officer shrugged. "That's for the judge to decide," he said. "Please turn around and put your hands behind your backs."
Will felt a surge of panic as the officer handcuffed him. This couldn't be happening They had won, hadn't they?
As they were led out of the hospital, Will saw the flashing lights of the police cars. They were surrounded by officers, all of whom seemed to be staring at them with accusation.
Will's mother was crying ,her eyes red with worry. Naomi was silent, her eyes fixed on the ground. Marcus was furious, his eyes blazing with anger.
And Will... Will just felt numb. He couldn't believe this was happening.
As they were pushed into the police car, Will caught a glimpse of a figure watching from the shadows.
It was a woman, her eyes fixed intently on Will.
And then, she vanished into thing air...
The police car pulled away from the curb, leaving the hospital and the mysterious woman behind. Will's mind was Disturbed with questions. Who was that woman? And why was she watching him?
As they arrived at the police station, Will and the others were taken to separate cells. Will was left alone with his thoughts, trying to make sense of what was happening.
But then, he heard a noise. A faint rustling sound coming from the vent above his cell.
Will looked up to see a small piece of paper being pushed through the slats. He took it, his heart pumping with excitement.
On the paper was a message, scrawled in hasty handwriting. "Don't trust the police," it read. "They're working with Kareem. You're in danger."
Will's eyes widened in shock. What did this mean? Was it true?
And then, he heard the sound of footsteps outside his cell. The door opened, and a police officer stood before him.
"Will, you're free to go," the officer said, his voice gruff.
Will's heart was beating really fast'. What was going on? Why was he being released?
But then, he saw the officer's face. It was the same woman who had been watching him from the shadows...
The woman smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "My name is Detective James," she said. "And I'm here to help you, Will."
Will's mind was racing. What did she mean? How could he trust her?
But then, she leaned in close. "I know all about Kareem's operation," she whispered. "And I know you're in danger. Come with me, and I'll keep you safe."
Will hesitated, unsure of what to do. But then, he looked into Detective James's eyes, and saw something there that made him trust her.
"Okay," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Detective James nodded, and led him out of the cell. They walked through the police station, avoiding the other officers.
As they reached the door, Will saw Naomi, Marcus, and his mother, all beinh led away in handcuffs.
"Wait!" Will shouted, trying to run to them.
But Detective James grabbed his arm, holding him back. "You can't help them now," she said. "But I can. Trust me." Feeling sorry for will
Will's heart was racing with fear, but he nodded. He had to trust her.
And then, they were outside, running across the parking lot to a waiting car.
As they drove away, Will looked back at the police station, wondering what was going on.
And then, he saw it. A black helicopter, hovering above the station.
With Kareem's logo on the side...
Detective James sped through the streets, her eyes fixed on the rearview mirror. Will's heart was racing with fear.
And then, the helicopter appeared, flying low over the car. Will's heart skipped a beat as it hovered above them, its spotlight shining down, bullets flying trying to slow the car down
Detective James swerved the car, trying to shake the helicopter. But it kept pace, its rotors whirring ominously.
Suddenly, the car's tires screeched as Detective James took a sharp turn. Will's stomach lurched as they sped through a narrow alleyway.
But the helicopter was relentless, following them through the maze of streets.
And then, Will saw it. A black SUV, pulling up alongside them.
With tinted windows and a sinister look...
Detective James saw it too, her eyes narrowing as she floored it. But the SUV kept pace, its driver's face hidden behind a mask.
Will's heart was pounding with fear, wondering who was behind this.
And then, the SUV swerved, trying to cut them off. Detective James spun the wheel, avoiding the collision by mere inches.
But as they sped away, Will saw something that made his blood run cold.
The SUV's window rolled down, revealing a shocking face...
Kareem's brother, thought to be dead, was grinning at them with a vengeful gaze...
