ARIS'S POV
I woke up the next morning in his arms; I smiled faintly as I recalled how he had held me close to himself all night, reassuring me that everything was going to be fine and I had nothing to worry about. I had snuggled closer to him and drifted off to sleep as he whispered his assurance to me. It was music to ears and joy to my heart.
I had actually thought that the relationship was over and he would send me out of his house and blame me, like others would - like my ex did, and other numerous friends had done once they found out I murdered my own father. They all ignored me and avoided me like a plague, calling me a monster and all sorts of names, but he was different, and I never expected it. If I had known he would accept me for who I was, I would never have left him. I wouldn't get scared or be disturbed by Gabriella's threats; she would never have gotten to my head and made me leave him.
