The shockwave made everyone's ears ring. But the knights took less damage than the mercenaries. After gaining advantages, they were able to capture and detain much easier.
Eventually defeating them they began to run to rescue the hostages.
Once inside, they only encountered a couple people in white coats and three mercenaries. Who they quickly caught and tied up.
After that, in the basement they opened the door of the room where the kidnapped people were, who looked very exhausted and weakened. When they got to the top floor, they found Ari who was in one of the rooms.
They caught all the scientists and mercenaries and chained them up. And the kidnapped men were freed and brought out into the fresh air.
All ended well, but at the same time on the east side of the wall, a man was watching all this. This is the explorer (chapters 23 - 24). He had a huge backpack with a lot of different things and papers with use. After standing like that for a few seconds, he whispered these words to himself:
- There's not much left to wait for, so please wait for me, August.
After saying those words, he left without a trace.
- Phew... "They finally got us out of here. And the papers, I guess I'd better give them to Lt. Corey."
As he got up off the ground, he saw Carla and walked over to her.
- Oh, Carla! How are you?
She looked like her usual self. Like nothing had ever happened to her.
- More or less normal. And you.
- Also. By the way, how's your memory? You remember everything?
- I'm not sure, but I think I got most of it back. (Thoughtful reply)
He went to Cory next.
- Okay. Oh! There you are!
He walked up to him and handed him the papers.
- Here you go!
