There was an explosion...
- Ahem. Ahem.
I was lying under some small debris and pieces of planks. I was burning up and short of breath. And just like that, I started to lose consciousness.
A long time later.
- Hey, hey, get up, come on!
- What? Aggh.
I had a really bad headache.
From the sound of it, I guess Carla woke me up. When I woke up, I couldn't see anything because it was dark.
I was lying on the floor. And it felt hard and very cold.
- I'm finally awake! It's you, Ari!?
- I thought you were dead!
I could tell from her tired voice that she was exhausted too.
- What is this place? How did we even get here? Do you remember anything?
- I don't know. I just woke up a little while ago, too. И... Who am I?!
- I mean!
- Your name is Ari. What was my name. A-ari, do you know who I am?!
"What does that mean?! Does she have memory loss?! Or is she just messing with me?!"
- Carla, will you stop kidding me?!?
Suddenly the floor started moving and we were bouncing around a bit. From the sound of the bouncing, I realized that the floor was empty and that there were other people with us.
And at one point, there was a light. There was a man standing at the side of the light and he started to come in here. He looked at all of us and started to come out.
He was wearing some kind of cloth. He was wrapped in them. The only thing he wasn't wrapped in was his eyes. They were a bright gray light.
My eyes quickly adjusted to the light. When I started to look around, I realized that we were in a cage, and the cage was covered with a cloth. And when I looked over to where the man had come from I could see everything moving.
"Are we being taken somewhere?!"
When the thought came to me, I asked him:
- "Are you taking us somewhere?!
He stopped and started looking at me.
- Tz!....
He walked forward and blocked the light source.
"Well, what was that tzusk?! Are we being kidnapped?!...? "
- Ari, do you know who that is?
- How should I know? Probably the one who kidnapped us.
- Again? Again? Have I ever been kidnapped before?!
"Does she really have memory holes?!"
Soon my eyes got used to the darkness too.
And when I looked at Carla, I saw bandages wrapped around her head.
Carla has memory loss and doesn't know where we are.
What can I say? That's how I first went for a walk in the city.
