Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Twenty years ago, towers suddenly appeared across the world, causing a wave of astonishment among the global population. People were consumed by curiosity about the contents of these mysterious structures.

Consequently, governments worldwide dispatched teams to investigate their enigmatic interiors.

What they uncovered inside the towers left them astonished. These towering structures housed not only monsters and civilizations but also a source of profound power.

This unforeseen discovery sparked a monumental shift, altering the course of the world irreversibly. Each passing year brought about significant changes as individuals who entered the towers gained extraordinary powers, ultimately reshaping the world's dynamics. Upon emerging from the towers, chaos ensued. Revolutions erupted in every country, overwhelming governments that ultimately relinquished control to the empowered populace. In response, the people came together to form an organization known as Olympus, believing in a structured hierarchy within the world where individuals of varying status are recognized. At the apex of this hierarchy are the 12 kings, reigning over Olympus as the most potent beings in existence.

Twenty years have passed since the world fell under the rule of Olympus.

The sun is rising, and I awoke early to a beautiful morning. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter as I enter my third year of high school. Just one more year to go before I move on to college. My name is Leo, a regular student studying in Japan. Currently, I am in my third year at high school. In my school, there exists a clear hierarchy. Why, you ask? Because all the wealthy and high-status individuals attend my school. This institution is no ordinary one; it is considered one of the top schools in the world, known as Zeon Academy.

.

.

.

Zeon Academy was founded by one of the subordinates of the 12 Kings, which is why the academy holds such renown. I am one of the selected students at the academy, awarded a scholarship. Despite being in the company of many high-profile individuals, we, the lower-class students, still face discrimination for not being of higher status. Reflecting on how I managed to endure the past two years, I realize it has been quite an achievement. Now, as I enter my third year, I must continue to strive to survive and thrive in this prestigious academy.

.

.

The sun was beginning to rise and Leo had already prepared his things to go to school. He left and started walking towards the school. Leo enjoyed walking to his school because it was close to where he lived. While walking, Leo felt a sense of joy. He was happy because he was now in his third year of high school and would soon graduate. He was also nervous because there were high-profile individuals who wanted to bring down those from the lower class like him. However, despite this, Leo looked up at the sky, raised his hand, and said,

"I will never give up."

Leo was determined and with a look of determination in his eyes, he gazed at the clouds.

Leo arrived at his school and from the gate, he could see students talking loudly. The school was bustling with noise as Leo walked towards where the classrooms were located.

While Leo was searching for his classroom outside the gate, three cars suddenly arrived, and a man with golden hair stepped out. He looked wealthy and caught everyone's attention. Despite the many girls calling out to him, he paid no heed and walked towards where Leo was. He stopped and called out to the person in front of him.

"Leo, long time no see,"

said the man to Leo as he was searching for his classroom. Startled, Leo paused and looked behind him in surprise. There stood his friend, Zao Chen. Zao Chen was wealthy and well-known in their country. Leo wondered why Zao, of all people, would be friends with him. Leo greeted his friend,

"Long time no see, Zao Chen. It's only been a few months, and you've already changed."

Leo teased his friend, and they both burst into laughter.

.

.

While Leo and Zao Chen were talking, a group approached them and stopped right in front of the two. Leo and Zao Chen noticed the group in front of them, causing them to look, and Leo became serious when he saw the man. Leo recognized him from a long time ago when he was new at the school, as the person who made his life difficult.

.

.

As the group arrived, Zao Chen, who was with Leo, spoke up, saying,

"Weng Tang."

The man was Weng Tang, one of the well-known families in their country, with numerous companies under their family name. He is also the CEO's favorite child of the Tang Corporation.

.

.

Upon hearing Weng name, a hint of disdain reflected on his face, particularly in his gaze towards Leo. Wen has known Leo since their first year together at school. Leo is one of the chosen few to study at the school, and Wen, disliking the idea of associating with someone from a lower class like Leo, often bullied him. However, Leo never allowed himself to be bullied by Weng; he stood up to him. There was one instance when Leo almost got expelled for punching Weng in the face, but it was avoided due to a friend intervening.

.

.

Weng looked at Leo as if assessing him, then shifted his gaze to Zao Chen and said,

"I don't understand why you need to associate with someone from such a low class. As a noble, don't you have any shame?"

He stared at Zao Chen while saying this, but Zao paid no heed to Wen's words, as he had heard this sentiment from Wen several times before.

.

.

In Zao's view, unlike the wealthy individuals, he believed that everyone is equal. He held the belief that there should be no conflict and that the only difference between individuals is wealth. Nonetheless, he maintained that everyone should be respected equally because they are all human beings.

.

.

However, despite his beliefs, many people still shallowly judge others, leaving him feeling helpless to effect change.
