The dark chamber of the black fae pulsed with eerieness, the only source of light came from two candles which were seated on the table beside him. The chamber's air thick with the scent of dangerous magic and ancient portions.
Shadows writhed along the walls as the fae's fingers traced cryptic patterns above an orb resting on a pedestal. Its swirling mists churned before coalescing into a vivid vision -- a young woman, suspended in the void, radiating power. Runes of forgotten magic spiraled from her, igniting the air with an intensity that made the fae falter and fear.
