The next morning, Azrael, Sevastian, and Elysia prepared to depart for the palace. While Sevastian and Elysia settled in the carriage, Azrael stayed back to speak with the bailiff.
"I will be expecting your reports soon," Azrael said firmly, his commanding tone leaving no room for delay.
"Of course, Your Majesty. I will continue my investigation and deliver them as promptly as possible," Harold replied, offering a polite smile.
With a nod, Azrael turned on his heel and strode toward the carriage, ready to leave.
"Thank you for everything, Harold. Your assistance has been invaluable," the King said, his tone warm with appreciation.
"It is always my honor to serve the crown, Your Majesty," Harold responded with a respectful bow.
