As evening approached, Elysia prepared herself, carefully arranging the few belongings she had brought along. Her heart beat quickly as she glanced around the small inn room, making sure she left no trace of her stay after hiding her clothes properly. She adjusted her hood and moved briskly toward the door
As she walked over to where the innkeeper stood, she was glad that there were no much people in the parlor. She approached the older woman who was wiping the surface of a wooden table.
The woman noticed her presence, her eyes moving from Elysia's face to her feet then back to her face, she could see the surprise in the woman's eyes at her changed appearance. "Are you leaving?" The woman asked.
"Yes, I have to leave for somewhere very important.". Elysia replied, with a polite smile.
The woman looked like she was about to ask more questions, but decided against it. "Very well." She replied shortly.
