Sounds of screams filled Elysia's ears as her heart pounded hard, she was so afraid that she could feel her hands shaking. She did try to look out the window once, to see what was happening outside but failed terribly as she could not see anything from how dark the night was.
She shut the window close and prayed the King was alive and not hurt. Just then her head snapped to the door when she heard a loud bang on it. Elysia felt like she was going to have a heart attack with how fast her heart was beating.
The door opened forcefully revealing a man who was in all black clothing with a mask covering his face. He looked and smelt like danger.
"W-who are you?" Elysia whispered, her voice barely above a whisper.
