Azreal walked back into his study, furious. His fingers clenching and unclenching. He had never seen that kind of reaction from anyone and especially not Elysia, who he was nothing but nice to. He closed his eyes and opened them again trying to calm himself, fuck it! He needed something to do, something to take his mind off Elysia for now.
He stood over his table and began to look through the stacks of papers, some were from the market councils, while others were from neighboring kingdoms. Azreal picked one of the letter and opened it. His eyes scanned the writings on the paper which was an invitation from the Vampire King. King Damien, an old acquaintance of Azreal was inviting him to a birthday ball he was holding for his wife.
