But then, he stopped that gaze as his hatred intensified, remembering his mother's killer.
"I swear..."
"I FUCKING SWEAR THAT I'LL KILL YOU, I'LL FUCKING KILL YOUR WHOLE FAMILY, EVERYONE YOU KNOW, I FUCKING SWEAR!!" Ivan shouted, his eyes deep red, vowing to kill his mother's killer.

[Ivan's POV]
"Ha, ha, ha."
"I need to go to the hospital as soon as possible," I muttered, my breathing heavy, blood still leaking.
Then I started to walk away. Even though I was in so much pain, I tried to ignore it as I walked away with my weak legs that were tweaking so much that I could fall down at any moment.
###
[1 hour later...]
With much struggle, I finally arrived outside the hospital I had been to before... the Trinity Hospital, the hospital my mother took me to when my left eye was scarred by them.
But after reaching outside the hospital, I couldn't move. I couldn't even move an inch.
I felt pain unlike anything before, my entire body aching, blood still leaking a bit, but I grabbed that area.
"Fu..ck... move... just a little bit... more..." I thought, my whole face turning red due to the pain I was feeling.
I tried to move my weak leg, and as I took a step, I fell to the ground.
"Is this really it? Am I destined to die... before killing those bastards?" I thought as I tried to crawl my way inside, but then my world started to move... my surroundings becoming blurry.
"Hey, what's wrong with you?" A young man with short black hair said, running toward me.
That was the last thing I saw and heard before I lost my consciousness, as my world darkened.

[1986/1/3]
[Trinity Hospital's Emergency Room]
[2 Days Later...]
In the emergency room's bed, there was a boy, about 6 years old, lying in the bed, his eyes bandaged alongside his whole body.
It stayed like that for some time before the boy moved his head a little as he got up.
"W...where... am... I?" He slowly muttered, looking around, though he saw nothing as the world was fully black for him since his eyes were bandaged and not yet opened.
"Hm, what's this?" As he couldn't see anything, he extended his hand as he brought it near his eyes, softly touching it but feeling something covering his eyes.
As he opened the bandage slowly, the world before him finally started to come to light as he could see the surroundings.
"Is this... a hospital?" He muttered, seeing all those machines.
Suddenly, the door was opened as a young, beautiful nurse came inside, but as soon as she saw Ivan awake, she ran outside to call the doctor. A middle-aged man wearing a white coat came inside.
"Oh, you're awake," he said, his tone calm as he had a kind smile.
"Yes..." Ivan replied, his tone rather bland.
"How are you feeling? Are you feeling any pain or discomfort?" The middle-aged doctor asked as he sat beside Ivan.
"No... I feel no pain or discomfort," Ivan said.
"Hello, this is the Novosibirskaya Oblast Militsiya, and we would like to question the child. Is that alright now?" A young man with blonde hair said as he came inside, showing his police ID. Beside him was a middle-aged man wearing a brown full coat with a hat.
"Yes, you can, since he's alright now," the doctor said as he went outside to not disturb them.
The police and the middle-aged man then walked up to Ivan, sitting on a chair beside him.
"So, what's your name?" The police officer gently said, a kind smile tucked on his face.
"My name is... Ivan Petrov," Ivan said, his tone bland and emotionless, which surprised them, but they didn't mind it as they thought he must be traumatized since they assumed that something grave must have happened as he was also shot.
"So Ivan, can you tell us what happened and where are your parents?" The police officer gently said, not talking in an authoritative tone.
'Should I really tell them the truth? Or should I lie?' Ivan thought, not having much trust as the people he had met had been quite "kind" to him other than his mother.
'I guess I'll lie.' He thought, thinking it to be the best way.
'And cry,' he thought, as he started to remember the incident which led to tears coming out of his eyes.
"Sob* Hicc* Sob," he started to cry out as he wiped off the tears.
"I… I was with my… my family… and… and we were going… to the store. B-but… but then… there were… l-loud noises… like… 'bang bang.' E-everyone… everyone started… s-screaming… and… I got… I got really scared."
"I… I don't know… what happened to… my mom… and dad. I… I just… ran… as fast… as I could… and then… it hurt… really bad… but… I kept running… and… and then… I couldn't… anymore. I… I don't remember… anything… after that."
As he said that, the middle-aged man wearing the long brown full coat started to take notes.
While the young police officer's face got emotional as he hugged Ivan, which took him by surprise, but he didn't push him away.
"I didn't know you faced such things at such a young age..." the police officer said, his tone really kind and gentle as well as emotional.
"But you don't have to worry now! You're safe now! I'll find you a new home... where you can grow well," the police officer said before he stopped hugging him.
"Then, I'll take my leave, okay? Don't worry, okay? I'll really find you a new home as soon as possible so, just rest well. Nobody's gonna come to hurt you now," the police officer said as he got up, walking back but still looking at Ivan every now and then.
###
"Is the investigation over now?" The doctor said as he looked at them coming out of the emergency room.
"Yeah, pretty much. I didn't think I'd get my answers about what happened from such a child anyway," the middle-aged man said.
"Then, we'll take our leave," the police officer said as they both headed out.
...
"So, what do you think?"
"Has something like that happened these days?" The middle-aged man said, his tone laced with suspicion.
"There must have been something like that," the police officer said, believing in Ivan.
"I think he's lying to be honest," the middle-aged man said.
"Haah! You think such an innocent and pitiful child will lie? Are you out of your goddamn mind?" The young, inexperienced police officer said, angry that he's accusing the child of lying.
"Calm down, you haven't been in this field for long, so you don't know, but there are a lot of children who only look innocent but are actually monsters," the middle-aged man said.
"So what you're saying is that he's lying and that he's a monster who killed his own family and is making up stories now?"
"How can you be so cruel as to accuse such an innocent boy, Ivan?" The young police officer said.
"I'm not accusing him. I'm just speaking from experience," the middle-aged man said.
"Tch," the young police officer clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"Let's just investigate this ourselves," he said as he walked away.

[Emergency Room {ICU}]
'Finally, they left...' I thought. I was kind of bothered by them as I didn't really want to meet any new people right now.
"Patient Ivan, you should rest now. It's important to rest as you're heavily injured and you need to heal properly," a nurse said as she came inside before leaving after she said those words.
'From the looks of it, it seems they'll find a new home for me after my explanation,' I thought, skeptical about the new home.
'Well, whatever! I'll just pretend to be a good kid while working on my revenge plan,' I thought, really driven for the sake of revenge.
'I don't care how much time it takes me... even if it takes me my whole life, I'll do whatever it takes to eradicate their entire bloodline!!' I thought as I clenched my fist and bit my lips.
'It would be better if that doctor or that policeman finds a rich household for me... preferably an old couple as they'll be easier to handle than young ones,' I thought as I lay on the bed comfortably before closing my eyes.
