"And you see this ugly scar? This was also given to me by your oh-so-great father. So... I vowed... vowed to kill every last bit of your father's whole bloodline," I said, my voice containing so much hatred that it surprised her.
'Maybe... maybe... I've found someone that I can work with to take revenge against him for abandoning my mother and abusing me,' Mira thought, seeing hope and light even in such a situation.
"So, I'll start with you," I said as I readied my hand to punch her face.
"W-wait, w-wait!! I-I have somethi—" she couldn't finish her words as I landed a clean punch to her chin, making her scream once again with tears dripping faster.
"Now, I can listen. So, tell me your last words fast; I ain't got no time to listen to your bullcrap anymore," I said, giving her a chance to tell her last words before she died.
"I-I can help you. I-I can help you get your revenge on them," she said, desperation evident in her voice.
"Hoh, and why would I need your help? I can pretty much do it myself," I said, my tone chillingly cold, completely opposite to the kind tone I used in everyday situations.
"I-I can provide you with resources and much more," she said, stuttering as she said those words with desperation.
"Oh, how so? If you speak about resources, then I don't need those... I have multimillionaire parents, a billionaire girlfriend, and in the future, even more people will support me, unknowingly or knowingly... so, why would I need you?"
As I said those words, tears dripped from her eyes, seeing no hope for her to be alive.
"S-Since I'm also from the family, I-I can provide inside information on them," she said, which intrigued me a bit, as what I need most right now is information, and what better than an inside source?
"Aren't you afraid that... I'll betray you and kill you?" I said, a smirk forming on my face as her expression turned into a cold one.
"I don't care! If-if I can get revenge on them for abusing me and my mother... I don't care if I die after that!!" She said, determination shining through her eyes, which surprised me a bit, seeing someone who was ready to die to get revenge, reminding me a bit of myself.
"Alright then, I'll take you under my wing... but... if you dare to betray me... hmm... wait, where's your mother right now?" I said, remembering that she seemed to want revenge for her mother.
"S-she... is dead..." she said, her tone turning real sad.
'And here I thought I could get something against her... to remind her that I'm in power against her,' I thought.
'Well, since I can't have an upper hand against her, I should just test her loyalty and then I'll decide if she's worth having as an ally or killing her,' I thought, a smile surging up on me as I patted her shoulder.
"Well then, I've decided to trust you and take you under my wing to complete my revenge. Just know that..." saying the last part, I gripped her shoulder with a bit of my strength as she growled in pain.
"Ughh," she growled in pain, inflicted by the hard gripping.
"The consequences won't be something that you can handle," I said, flashing her a smile and then I stopped gripping her shoulder.
"Y-yes," she said, deep fear evident in her voice.
"Then, I'll untie you first." Saying that, I untied the ropes used to tie her to the chair and then I took my bag with me before I walked ahead.
I walked slowly, like an old man having a hard time walking.
As I walked outside of the door, I smiled; the reason I walked so slowly was because I was testing her.
I left behind the baseball bat with which I used to hit her to see if she would use that to attack me as soon as I untied her. But to my surprise, she did nothing, not even looked at the baseball bat which was just at her leg.
But the moment I got outside of the storage room, I met a janitor who was walking around here.
The moment he saw me, he walked toward me and asked, "Oh, Ivan! You haven't left?" He said, flashing a smile.
This was a janitor that I talked to sometimes when I had nothing better to do, to ease my boredom.
"Yes. My friend told me to come here to help her find her lost assignment copy that she lost around here," I said, lying through my teeth while looking him in the eyes.
"Oh, is that so? Where's your friend?" He said, looking around to see if there was anyone around.
"Yeah, she's placing the assignment copy inside her bag and told me to wait outside," I said, my gaze not flaring even when he looked at me with suspicion.
After a few more seconds of silence, Maria finally came out of the room with her bag.
Everywhere you looked at her, there was no sign of anything that happened, most likely, she covered it all up and cleaned her dress of the dirt that she got.
"Oh, isn't she pretty?" He said to my ears, his eyes glinting with mischievousness.
"Is she your second girlfriend or something?" He said, his tone playful.
By now, everyone in the school knows of the relationship that I got into with Veronica, and they even tried to separate us, saying that it's not good for young children like us to get into a relationship. It went through one ear and out the other, getting out of my head like air.
"Stop that, Uncle. You should know how Veronica is... she'll kill me if I do something like that," I said, feigning innocence and playfulness, completely different from the cold, heartless tone and expression that I showed to Maria before.
While we were whispering back and forth, Maria just stood there, tilting her head in confusion as she couldn't hear our conversation.
"So, student Maria, did you find your lost assignment copy?" He asked her, in a questioning tone as she looked at me.
But I had that expressionless expression on my face, giving out nothing, leaving her on her own.
'Now then, Maria! What will you do? Will you tell him what I did to you or will you cooperate with me on what I told this janitor?' I thought, amusement evident in my eyes as I focused on her.
"Yeah, I found it..." she said, back to her cold tone again.
"Oh, alright then," he said, not looking into this small matter too deeply.
'Oh, you're pretty loyal? But... it's not enough to prove your loyalty... I'll throw in some low-stake tests on you... let's see if you'll remain loyal or not... then I'll decide on my next course of action. For now, I'll really trust you a bit,' I thought, satisfied with her behavior and her smartness that surpassed her age.
"Then... I'll take my leave," she coldly said before walking away, not even waiting for his reply.
"I'll also take my leave," I said with a smile.
"Alright then," he said before I walked away.

After that, I walked out of the school where I found my "girlfriend" patiently waiting for me even though she didn't know if I was really still her or not.
And she rambled on and on for some time as we walked, while two cars followed us from behind, which were our drivers.
And after some time, I got into my car and she did the same, parting ways.
...
Then after getting home and freshening up a bit, Alex arrived, and then I started my training.
###
Just like that, 3 more years passed, and in the past 3 years, I've done a lot of things.
For the first 3 months after taking Maria under my wing, I had her tested on her loyalty, which were all to my satisfaction as she remained pretty loyal.
And after that, I had her gather information such as names, ages, and other critical information regarding all the members of the Vorontsov family.
Then, for the next 2 years, I used my connections, my girlfriend's family, to slowly but surely, take down their every money source, making them lower their status from multimillionaires to a millionaire family.
Then, for the next year, I managed to convince Alex and my family to let me go to France, where the target, Ruth Vorontsov, the second son of the Vorontsov family, resides and studies.
I then planned out my strategy to lure him into a motel where security was poor and then killed all the bodyguards he had before killing him.
It was pretty easy as he was a sex addict, alcohol addict, and a lustful rapist who got away with his crimes by his family's money.
Though that wasn't the only man I killed, I killed a few more people in the last seven years.

A/N: Ah, I got bored of these slice-of-life moments and pretty much writing this revenge arc, so I'll be cutting it short by making huge time skips and then only showing how he killed them one by one and their reactions to it, etc., and be done with it by chapter 20 or at most 25.
