Chapter 15 - First Victim - 1

"Andrei... ANDREI!!" Ivan said, his smile turning into that one hell of a grin that would surprise and scare anyone.

"I finally found you, you fucking piece of shit! I was getting worried because I didn't know your name, but who would have guessed that your daughter enrolled in the same school as me..."

"Kekekekekek."

"I'll be sure to make her my first target. I'll kill her really soon and send you her body pieces. Hehehehahahahahahaha," Ivan gave an evil laugh, laughing his heart out, happy because he finally found someone related to that bastard, not to mention his own blood-related daughter.

"Now then, how should I deal with her?" After calming himself down, he muttered, thinking of ways.

"I guess I'll just kill her and throw away her body to the dogs for them to have a feast, keke," he muttered, his smile turning into a grin.

"But I'll do that tomorrow... let's just let her be for now since... I've plenty of time, so no need for me to hurry," he said, his tone relaxed but still filled with coldness and malicious energy, with his expression being that of a cold one with a big grin that might scare away most if they saw such an expression in broad daylight.

###

[Ivan's POV.]

Just like that, time flies like a flash, and without even knowing it, it was already 3:00 PM, the time when school ends.

'Now, I should set my plan into motion,' I thought, grabbing my bag before I started to walk away, just like everyone else.

But halfway before I reached the door, I saw a girl sleeping so soundly in her chair.

"..." She had that big smile on her face that didn't match her beautiful face.

'I guess I'll walk home with her... until my driver comes with the car...' I thought as I walked up to her chair and patted her head.

"Wake up, sleepyhead. It's time to head home," I said, my mouth near her ear as she grunted.

"Hm... let me sleep... for some more time..." she said, taking pauses as she looked away.

"If you don't wake up, then I'll be going home alone... then you can sleep here 'till tomorrow." Saying that, I began to walk away, but as soon as she heard it, she stood up immediately and walked beside me.

"Ahaha, let's go home together," she said with a nervous laugh as she grabbed my hand, which I didn't slap away since it was nothing.

###

After that, I walked with her for some time outside of the school, towards my home, which was just a couple of minutes' walk away from hers. But on the way, my driver and her driver arrived in a Mercedes and BMW, and we headed our separate ways.

...

[Back home.]

[Inside the gym.]

"Come on, soldier! Just 10 more push-ups."

"Don't be a pus*y. You can do better than that," Commander Alex said as he cussed at me to motivate me.

"Hah...hah...hah...hah..." I breathed out heavily as I pushed myself to the limit.

"211...ha."

"212..."

...

"219.... 220.. ha..ha...ha..ha..ha." As soon as I did 220 push-ups in a row, I fell to the ground, my breathing so heavy that you could hear it from kilometers away.

"Damn soldier, you've been impressing me more and more." Commander Alex complimented me as he handed me a bottle of water, which I took and drank while sitting on the ground.

*Gulp*

"Ha... thanks for the compliment, Commander. It's all thanks to your teaching for the past 3 years," I said while drinking some more water to ease my thirst. I've been working out from 5 PM, and now it's 7 PM, so it's been 3 hours since I started today's workout, and I'm really tired right now, my body's aching from soreness.

"Now rest for 5 more minutes and then do 3 rounds of shadowboxing," Commander Alex said as he sat on a chair that was just behind him.

"Yes, Commander," I said as I rested on the hard floor.

'So it's already been more than 3 years, huh? I never thought the kid who looked skinny as fu*k back when we met would last this long...'

'Guess I was too quick to judge him when we met,' Alex thought, nostalgia hitting him.

"Alright, soldier, I've decided. I'll start teaching you how to use guns on 1990/2/2, after the day of your birthday. I've deemed you to be more than ready to learn these skills now," Commander Alex said with a smile, which made him smile as well.

"THANK YOU, COMMANDER!" I said with a small smile. I've been looking forward to when I could start learning the art of guns, so hearing that I'll be learning it in a few months made me happy.

"Don't thank me, thank yourself for your efforts and... if you've rested enough to shout, go and start shadowboxing. You'll be sparring with me this coming Sunday. I'll check if you're learning well or not," Commander Alex said with a smile.

In the past 3 years that he's been teaching Ivan, he has already started to think of him as a little brother and formed attachments, seeing the hard work, discipline, and commitment that Ivan shows toward this. Thus, he's giving it his 200% in teaching him.

###

[20 minutes later...]

[After the training session.]

"Brother Alex, do you know anything about midazolam?" Ivan asked as he used the towel to clean up the sweat that formed from his training.

In it showed his shredded body. He had that muscular physique with some dark circles on his body, which were formed from the beatings that his father inflicted on him. He also had a six-pack, which not even an average man in his 20s has, with that thick chest that would put people who don't work out, and even those who do, to shame.

"Midazolam, huh? I guess I know," Alex said as he put his hand on his chin in a thinking posture.

'Tch, how could I not know, Ivan? You don't know how many times I've used that with injections on the enemies to kidnap the opposite country's soldiers to extract information during the Soviet-Afghan Cold War that took place in 1979...'

'I've been using it for God knows how long... before you were even born, my lil bro Ivan,' Alex thought, his expression that of a proud one, proud of his achievements.

"What is it used for then, Brother Alex?" Ivan asked, his expression turning into that of a curious one—the expression he used to extract a lot of information out of Alex.

"Hah, that's just a medicine that's used for stress relief," Alex said, not having the slightest intention to tell him that it could be used to make people unconscious in under a minute.

"Really? So, have you used it a lot?" Ivan asked with an innocent facade.

"Yeah, I've used it a lot of times when I'm stressed."

'And when I'm on a mission,' he thought.

"Oh... alright then, big brother Alex, I'll be going now. Good night," Ivan said before he walked out of the gym room.

###

'Stress reliever, huh? I guess I'll be using it in some other "common" way,' Ivan thought while walking to the dining room.

...

[After dinner...]

[At the main gate of the mansion.]

"Hey, guard uncles," Ivan greeted them from behind as it startled them. They quickly reacted and looked at Ivan with sweat dropping. They thought it was a ghost or something as they were lost in their imaginations.

"Y-yes, young master Ivan," one guard said, his words stuttering from the surprise he felt.

"Can you bring me midazolam? I need it for my project work tomorrow," Ivan said, his expression and tone that of an innocent, kind kid as he said that with a smile.

"Why don't you ask Master Alexander, young master?" he asked, a bit puzzled as to why he asked him.

"Because I don't want to trouble them," he said, his tone still the same playful one.

"Oh, okay then, young master. I'll bring it before morning tomorrow," he said, understanding that he didn't want to trouble them.

"Oh, and please... don't tell them, okay? I don't want to trouble them at all," he said, his tone still the same playful one.

"Okay then, good night." Saying that, he walked back to his room.

...

"Now that I've gotten everything I need, I can put my plan into motion," he muttered as he changed into his pajamas before falling into dreamland.
