The sun shone brightly in the horizon as it was slowly rising up in the sky. It chased away the darkness and the extremely cold winds while melting the thick snow that had accumulated in the tall mountain. The cold weather wasn't unbearable anymore which made it possible for them to continue travelling towards the other side of the mountain. They had to move quickly though unless they wanted to spend another cold night getting pelted by the cruel hailstorm.
The three friends carefully climbed down the mountain through the narrow and steep path which was barely passable. Unlike the other side where they had come from, the current path this time didn't have a shortcut that would make their lives easier.
