Just then, the door to Kae's room burst open, revealing Jasper and Orion, both wearing expressions of worry.
"What's with that position?" Orion asked, his initial concern vanishing as he took in the sight of Kae and Anna's slightly awkward stance.
Kae quickly grabbed the bandage and wrapped it around his shoulder, while Anna hurriedly got off the bed, standing beside it with a flustered look.
Orion and Jasper stepped further into the room, moving to sit at the edge of the bed.
"You just woke up from a coma, and already you're letting yourself get into the hands of a woman?" Orion whispered with a smirk. "Can't you let it wait?"
"No, it's not what you think," Kae replied, sighing heavily. "She was helping me with the bandage, nothing more."
