Daniel clapped his hands, the sound echoing through the forest, causing Team 16 to freeze in confusion. They watched as Daniel laughed, his amusement apparent.
"I'm impressed. You really have good coordination. I suppose I should have expected this considering you trained together from a young age," Daniel said, his laughter filling the air.
"But it's time to show you what I meant," he continued, his expression turning serious. In an instant, he moved even faster.
"Get ba..." Hikari started to warn, but Daniel was already in front of Ryuu, standing next to Daichi. With an open palm, he struck Ryuu's chest, knocking him out instantly.
"Omae...!" Daichi screamed, his voice filled with fury. He lunged forward, determined to avenge Ryuu. But Daniel, without even turning his body, reached out with his other hand, grabbing Daichi by the neck. Standing straight, he channeled lightning through his body, knocking Daichi out cold.
The moonlit forest was bathed in an ethereal glow as Team 16 stirred awake from their recent beating by Daniel. The air was still and filled with a quiet hum, the forest seemingly holding its breath as the trio slowly sat up, rubbing their heads.
"Man, I thought we really had him," Daichi muttered, his voice tinged with disappointment. They sat on the grass, the mood a little downcast, but they each recognized the value of the lesson learned.
Ryuu clenched his fists, his expression one of determination. "I realized today just how lacking I really am."
Hikari looked at her teammates, feeling a newfound urge to grow stronger. "Right, we'll get stronger," she said, her voice resolute.
The others looked at her briefly in silence, then burst into laughter, their spirits lifting. The camaraderie between them was undeniable, and despite the setback, they found solace in their shared determination to improve.
As the night ended, the trio made a pact. They would train under Daniel until he deemed them ready. With renewed resolve, they welcomed the challenges that lay ahead.
The sun rose, casting a golden glow over the village as a new day began.
Team 16 woke up early with anticipation, eager to begin their training. They gathered at their designated training ground, their hearts pounding with excitement. However, Daniel was late once again, and they stood there, growing increasingly impatient.
"Seriously? This is the second time he's late!" Ryuu grumbled, pacing back and forth.
"What's his deal? We could have done so much by now!" Daichi added, frustration evident in his voice.
Hikari tried to keep her calm, but even she couldn't hide her irritation. "We need to give him a piece of our mind when he gets here," she muttered.
Finally, Daniel arrived, his usual carefree demeanor intact. "Yo!" he greeted, ignoring their glares.
"Do you even own a clock?" Ryuu snapped, his annoyance clear.
"Or do you just enjoy making us wait?" Daichi added, his arms crossed.
Daniel chuckled, unfazed by their complaints. "My bad, my bad. Let's get started, shall we?"
"So, what's first?" Daichi asked excitedly, unable to contain his enthusiasm despite his frustration.
"Well, about that..." Daniel said, drawing their confused attention. He paused for a moment, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.
"We'll be leaving the village for two years," he announced, his voice calm but firm.
"What?" Hikari's eyes widened in shock.
"Two years?" Ryuu echoed, his voice trembling with disbelief.
"Why? Where are we going?" Daichi exclaimed, his face paling at the thought of such a long departure.
Daniel kept silent, savoring the suspense. He then laughed, "Just go and pack up."
Still in shock, they rushed off to prepare, their minds racing with questions and excitement. Unknowingly, they were about to embark on a journey that would change them forever.
"Our main destination will be the Forest of Monkey Sages," Daniel murmured to himself, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
As Team 16 packed their belongings, their hearts were filled with a mix of apprehension and exhilaration. They were about to step into the unknown, guided by a mentor who had proven to be both enigmatic and powerful. The adventure that awaited them promised growth, challenges, and the forging of unbreakable bonds.
As the members of Team 16 packed their belongings, each of them was lost in thought, reflecting on what lay ahead and what they hoped to achieve during this two-year journey.
Hikari carefully folded her clothes and packed them into her bag, her mind racing with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Could this lead her to overcome her current limits, she always felt the pressure to prove herself, especially since she struggled to efficiently use her Byakugan.
"This is my chance, I'll prove myself of my worthiness of my clan's name. I can't let my struggles hold me back any longer. I need to master my Byakugan and show everyone that I can be a strong leader." She thought
Hikari felt a deep sense of duty to uphold her family's honor as the next head of her family. She wanted to make her father proud.
On the other hand; Ryuu packed his gear with a determined expression. Despite being from the main branch, he couldn't learn his clan's techniques because he could barely use the Biyakugan. He had lost all hope in himself but when he met Hikari, he was inspired by her and her efforts and as he grew closer to her, he grew desire to protect her, that's what kept him going.
He wanted to become stronger, not just for myself, but for Hikari and his team. He was going to give it his all and push forward surpassing his limits.
Daichi packed his essentials, his mind filled hopes to grow much stronger and to improve on his current skills.
"This is my chance to prove myself, to show that I'm more than just a protector. I want to stand as an equal among my teammates." Daichi thought.
Daichi sought to refine his proficiency in ninjutsu and kenjutsu, leveraging his Earth and Fire Release abilities. He wanted to be recognized for his own merits and skills, not just his duty to the main branch.
He wanted to prove that strength and capability were not determined by one's lineage but by one's dedication and hard work.
As they finished packing, each member of Team 16 felt a renewed sense of purpose. They met up back on training ground 12, with determination to grow stronger and accomplish their goals.
