Chapter 25 - Battle with the Jinchuriki of the Hidden Stone

A small breeze blew as Daniel stood facing the two Jinchuriki of the Hidden Stone, his mask displaying his excitement. The air was thick with tension, every second stretching into an eternity. Roshi's eyes narrowed, his voice a low growl. "I was informed that we should not take our opponent so lightly."

"Let's get this over with already," Daniel interrupted, his tone impatient, yet his body language exuded a calm confidence that only served to heighten the suspense.

"Chh. How rude," Han remarked. In the blink of an eye, he moved, using Boil Release to enhance his speed. Daniel's grin widened as he saw Han, rumored to be one of the best taijutsu shinobi, charging at him. The anticipation was electric.

With a swift motion, Daniel dodged Han's advance, his movements almost too fast to follow. Han's leg swung past Daniel, the force of the missed strike creating a gust of wind. From behind, Roshi was already in motion, his attack perfectly timed to catch Daniel off guard.

Daniel's senses were razor-sharp. He felt the shift in the air, the subtle change in pressure as Roshi closed in. With a fluid twist, he evaded Roshi's assault, the two Jinchuriki's attacks missing him by mere inches. The suspense was palpable, each movement a dance of life and death.

Continuing their advance, Han and Roshi let out their Version One Jinchuriki cloaks. Red chakra bubbled and enveloped them, crackling with raw power. With a swift twist, Han changed his position, launching a series of taijutsu attacks. His movements were a blur, each strike maximizing his speed and power, as he used his Boil Release. His fists and feet moved with the force of a steam engine, delivering swift and heavy blows.

Daniel, with the grace, countered with fluid movements. He repelled and deflected Han's attacks, redirecting the energy of the attacks with minimal effort. Each of Han's powerful strikes was met with a calm, controlled response, dispersing the energy away from Daniel. The ground around them burst from the force of their clash as Daniel dispersed the force from Han's attacks.

Roshi, used his Lava Release. He spewed molten rock from his mouth, creating a hazardous battlefield.

Daniel's mask displayed a purple smiling emoji. In an instant, using instant transmission, he vanished and appeared above them. He pointed his index finger at them and shot a barrage of ki blasts, making a mess of the ground below.

"No way. Are you telling me, that masked man is holding own against two junchuriki?" an Iwa Shinobi remarked from a distance, their jaws dropping as they watched the battle.

Daniel hovered over the battleground as dust covered the entire field. A tail stretched forth from the dust, wrapping around Daniel's body and slamming him to the ground. The force of the impact caused the dust to settle. Han and Roshi stood in their Four-Tailed Version Two cloaks. On all fours, they rushed at Daniel. Han leaped with a punch, and from the ground, four tails emerged, sealing Daniel from escaping. The ground turned into lava, prepared by Roshi to trap him. Han approached from above, ready to strike.

"We've got him now," Roshi thought, as Daniel stood seemingly surrounded. But that wasn't the case. Han approached from above, his eyes locked with Daniel's. Daniel's torso turned ever so slightly as he reached his right hand up, stretching it to grab Han mid-air by the neck. Before Han could respond, Daniel's mask displayed the Mangekyou Sharingan. "Still," he muttered. Han let out a gasp, suddenly paralyzed, unable to move an inch.

With his torso turned, Daniel leaned down to a thirty-degree angle, his left arm reaching backward to grab one of Roshi's tails. His right hand returned to its normal state, dragging Han along as he pulled Roshi's tail, lifting him from the ground. As Daniel turned back to a normal position, he threw Han in Roshi's direction. Quickly, with one hand, he made hand seals: tiger, hare, boar, ram, dog, ox, and snake. "Earth Style: Mud Wall," Daniel said, and a solid wall of earth emerged from the ground. Han, hurled by Daniel, slammed into the wall.

With his left hand, Daniel pulled Roshi up and, using his tail, slammed him to the ground. Still holding the tail from afar, a Tailed Beast Bomb flew with great velocity straight at Daniel. As he looked at it coming, his attention was brought back to Roshi as he felt the weight of the tail disappear. Roshi had turned his Version Two cloak off and on again to free his tail, preparing a ninjutsu attack. Daniel bent backward to avoid the Tailed Beast Bomb, reaching his hand out. Strings of chakra stretched forth from his open palm, enveloping the bijudama. With the strings pulling it, he changed its course, his abdomen twisting a hundred eighty degrees. He returned the bijudama to Han by slapping him with it, causing it to explode on impact. Another bijudama, this time made by Roshi, struck Daniel straight in the stomach, leading to another explosion.

Two lake-sized craters resulted from the explosions, with Roshi standing between them. "Did they get him?" a Stone Shinobi questioned as they watched the battle. "Don't jinx it, damn it!" another struck him on the head.

Rocks rumbled as Han jumped from the rubble, landing next to Roshi as their Version Two cloaks dissipated. As the dust settled, they saw Daniel standing there, a partially translucent barrier around him. "Be careful of those eyes. That mask isn't for show," Han warned. Roshi, using Lava Release, spewed a wave of lava into the crater where Daniel stood.

Roshi's wave of lava surged towards Daniel, the heat distorting the air around it. Daniel's barrier shimmered as the lava collided with it, but he remained unfazed. With a swift motion, he dispelled the barrier and leaped into the air, avoiding the molten onslaught.

Han and Roshi, not missing a beat, coordinated their next move. Han charged forward, his fists glowing with the intense heat of his Boil Release. Aimed to overwhelm Daniel with sheer speed and power. Roshi, meanwhile, circled around, using his Lava Release to create traps and obstacles, forcing Daniel into Han's path.

Daniel, however, moved with the fluidity of water. The ground cracked and shattered under the force of their exchange, creating a chaotic battlefield.

Roshi took advantage of the chaos, launching a series of lava-coated punches and kicks. His movements were a deadly dance, each strike a blend of taijutsu and ninjutsu. Daniel found himself dodging and deflecting attacks from both sides, his focus split between the two formidable opponents.

"He's too strong," Han thought, gritting his teeth as he launched another barrage of punches. "We need to find a way to break his defense."

Roshi, sensing Han's thoughts, nodded. "Let's try a combination attack," he suggested, his voice steady despite the intensity of the battle.

Han and Roshi moved in perfect sync. Han launched a powerful punch, his fist glowing with boiling chakra. At the same moment, Roshi unleashed a stream of lava, aiming to trap Daniel between their attacks.

Daniel's eyes narrowed behind his mask. He could see the strategy unfolding. As Han's punch neared, Daniel twisted his body, techniques to redirect the force. Simultaneously, he formed hand seals with blinding speed. "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu," he intoned, and a massive dragon made of water erupted from the ground, clashing with Roshi's lava.

The resulting explosion of steam obscured the battlefield, creating a thick fog. Han and Roshi, momentarily blinded, paused to regain their bearings. Daniel, however, used the cover to his advantage. He appeared behind Han, his hand glowing with chakra. He had channeled chakra on his hand shaping it into a blade.

Han barely had time to react. He twisted his body, avoiding a fatal blow, but Daniel grazed his side. Roshi, seeing his comrade in danger, launched himself at Daniel, his fists blazing with lava.

Daniel met Roshi's attack head-on, their fists colliding with a force that shook the ground. The steam began to clear, revealing the three combatants locked in a deadly struggle. Han, clutching his side, rejoined the fray, his determination burning brighter than ever.

"We can't let up," Han said, his voice filled with resolve. "We have to keep pushing."

Roshi nodded, his eyes fierce. "Together, we can do this."

"This was fun and all, but we'll have to continue another time," Daniel said, his voice calm yet commanding. A strong pressure emanated from him as his green aura intensified. His muscles grew, becoming notably bulkier, and streaks of lightning sparked from his aura. He had ascended to Super Saiyan Two.

Faster than ever, Daniel vanished from Han and Roshi's sight. In an instant, he reappeared, slamming them both to the ground by their necks. "I already got the jutsu I needed from Onoki, now..." Daniel thought, his grip tightening as he absorbed the Version Two chakra cloaks off of them.

"Now to isolate the chakra in my mindscape," he continued, focusing inward to contain the chakra within himself. "Now I'll just..." Daniel began, but suddenly, he was pulled into a different mind space—the realm where the Four-Tails resided.
