The room seemed to hold its breath as Maxim's bold words hung in the air. The other guests, now at the door, paused, their masked faces turning back toward the centre of the room, intrigued by Maxim's offer.
Even Daniel, who had been standing discreetly in the shadows, stiffened at Maxim's offer.
The man with the golden mask remained still for a moment, his back to Maxim.
"Hmm, that doesn't sound so bad," the man replied, weighing the offer. His head tilted slightly, considering. When he finally turned around, his gaze was sharper, more intense, as if dissecting Maxim's intentions.
Maxim gulped nervously. It was the first time he had asked someone directly to sleep with him.
"So, are you going to accept my proposal?" Maxim asked. He was starting to get anxious while waiting for a reply.
"You're a bold one," the man said, his voice cold and laced with a touch of amusement. He took a step forward, then another, until he was once again standing directly in front of Maxim.
The difference in their heights seemed to magnify the tension, and Maxim could feel the weight of the man's presence bearing down on him.
Maxim met the man's gaze. He took a deep breath and repeated his words. "Would you like to sleep with me?"
"What makes you think I would want that?" the man asked, his gloved hand reaching out to trace the edge of Maxim's mask, his fingers brushing against the exposed skin.
Maxim's eyes widened at the question. He shivered under the touch, but he didn't flinch away.
'He's a hard one,' Maxim thought. However, he felt it was rather a test for him.
Maxim's lips parted slightly, and he spoke in a tone that was both soft and confident. "Because, sir, I can offer you something beyond just a performance. I can give you an experience no one else can."
The man's eyes narrowed, his fingers lingering on Maxim's chin. "And what is it that you think you can give me?"
"Whatever you desire," Maxim whispered. His heart raced, but he forced himself to remain calm. "Anything at all."
Maxim could sense the slight shift in the man's demeanour, the subtle increase in his breathing.
"Oh, I like how desperate you sound," the man replied. He gripped Maxim's chin, tightening it for a moment before abruptly letting go and stepping back.
Maxim clenched his teeth. He knew he was acting desperately, but saying it straight to his face hurt his ego a bit.
"This is an exclusive offer. You won't get it next time," Maxim stated sternly. He lifted his chin, showing a bit of dominance.
The man's eyes squinted as he rubbed his fingers where he touched Maxim.
"Very well," the man said, his tone icy. "Follow me."
Without another word, the man turned and strode toward a door at the far end of the VIP area, his long coat billowing behind him.
"Wait, we have a private room offered here," Maxim said. He was fine doing it in one of the club's rooms since it was safer.
The man stopped in his tracks. "Are you disobeying me?" he stated sternly without looking back.
Maxim frown. He only wanted to accommodate the man by providing a decent room for both of them. He glanced at the back, where Daniel was secretly peeking by the curtain to know what his suggestion was.
Daniel gestured to Maxim to follow, thinking it would be better not to piss the guest off.
"No, Sir," Maxim sighed in defeat. He hesitated only for a fraction of a second before he followed, his heart pounding in his chest.
Maxim glanced at the other guests and was surprised that they were no longer there. Daniel gave him a fleeting look of concern but said nothing, knowing better than to intervene.
As the door closed behind them, Maxim found himself walking toward the exit of the building.
"Where are we going, Sir?" Maxim asked as he started to get concerned.
"To the carriage," the man replied flatly.
"Oh," Maxim's heart raced as he followed the man outside the building. The night air was crisp, and the distant sounds of the city felt muted in the tense silence between them.
The man led him down a narrow alleyway, where a sleek black carriage waited, its horses stamping impatiently. However, there was no coachman.
Maxim thought they would go somewhere else, and that made him waver for a moment. He glanced back at the entrance of the building, where the warm light from inside spilled onto the street.
"Get in," the man said as he opened the carriage door and gestured for Maxim to step inside. The interior was luxurious, with plush velvet seats and a faint scent of leather and cologne.
'Where is he taking me?,' Maxim thought as he entered inside. He seated himself nervously, the soft cushions beneath him doing little to ease his tension.
The man climbed in after him, and the door closed with a solid thud that made Maxim flinch a little.
"Oh, why are you so panicky?" the man said, his voice amused. He removed his coat and draped it over to the side.
Maxim's breath caught in his throat as he faced the man, the reality of the situation settling in. 'I can do this,' he thought.
"What are you waiting for?" the man asked, tilting his head to the side. He spread his legs apart, showing the buttons on his pants.
Maxim thought they were somewhere, but he didn't expect them to do it inside the carriage. He looked at the windows on the side. Even though it was covered by a curtain, there was still a possibility that someone could see them.
"What do you desire for me to do, Sir?" Maxim asked quietly. His eyes focused on the next thing the man would say.
The man turned to face him, his eyes locking onto Maxim's. "Suck me," he commanded, his voice leaving no room for hesitation.
