"Tonia, you can't tell me that you didn't change your ways," Elizabeth mumbled in shock, seeing her irritated as she was now staring at her.
Tonia's eyes blazed with anger as she squatted, her voice furry.
"Change my ways, oh please… You think I don't know you want to ruin the little family I've brought up."
Elizabeth's expression turned confused, and she leaned back.
"What? Why would I want to hurt my sister?" Tonia's laughter echoed through the room, a cold, mirthless sound.
"Happy? Me? You want me to be happy?" She scoffed, her eyes flashing with resentment.
Elizabeth's heart broke at Tonia's words, and she shook her head.
"Seeing you back again and threatening the little life I finally got the courage to build is like a disaster for me!"
Tonia's face twisted in a snarl. "You think you deserve happiness?"
