Astrid and Maren stumbled out of the bar, their arms wrapped around each other's shoulders as they giggled uncontrollably.
They were both drunk, their words slurring together as they staggered down the sidewalk.
The bartender had tried all his possible best to stop them from leaving but they were so bent on not listening to him.
The bartender having no choice could only tag along with them as both of them staggered out. Astrid hands still have a bottle of wine but the bartender dare not collect it from her.
"I am so drunk and alive!" Astrid exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement. "I have never been this drunk before!"
Maren nodded enthusiastically, her own eyes glassy. Astrid knew she was going to have a deep regret. It's her first time drinking and she is already not in control of herself again.
"I know, me neither! We are such a good duo, Astrid! Thanks for coming into my life!" Maren's voice echoed, and Astrid giggled uncontrollably.
